"We had a lovely time staff was so helpful and the wheelchair accessibility was better than some hotels only problem no lift so my partner had to sit on her own for breakfast but staff was so helpful as I went upstairs for breakfast buffet we would definitely book here again if ever down basildon"

"When you arrive they look for a cash deposit of £50 or to pre authorise your card and despite saying the money doesnt go out, it does. The staff didnt seem to know what was happening. The building block is old and needs maintenance, painting, signs poor, rubbish under the bed, clearly cleaner doesnt look, only one side of the bed had a table to put things, no charging points, shower head loose, towels very small. Its like a motel from an American road movie!"

"Excellent check in and brief overview of the hotel and key areas. Good sized room and bathroom. Restaurant was fine, menu a little limited but the steak was good. Breakfast cooked to order and great quality. Staff at breakfast very pleasant. Didn’t use the Spa as I didn’t have time but it looked busy. Overall a great one night stay for the money and will definitely be back."
