"The best things were the decor, artifacts, theming of the hotel, the value of what we got for what we paid, and the awesomeness of the restaurant next door! Breakfast was fine, nothing fancy but nothing to complain about. The waffles were the best part (thin, almost crepe-like) with Nutella and jam. Coffee was good but served in tiny cups, so we needed to keep refilling. I loved the location, right across from the bay. There is a long shoreline walkway that we really enjoyed. Rooms were tiny (like 10 feet by 10 feet) but clean, with plenty of geothermally heated water for showers. The neighborhood was delightful, way less touristy than Reykjavík. We really liked everything!"
