Totally worth the stay!!

This is by far the best hotel ive been in. Super friendly staff, very pleasant and extrenely cleam rooms, Beds, bathroom and services. Really great for the price we paid. Its actually better than my stay at Radison. Not gonna lie.. The hotel was very homely

The University Inn is a fun we thought of experience. The linens and towels were excellent. The facility is in pretty good shape for the vintage and fits right in with the neighborhood. Parking was easy. Highly recommend.

It’s a good hotel. Nice folks working there. However, hot water never really gets very hot so showers not hot enough. Coffee Keire machines are terrible. Sometimes half a cup and sometimes full cup. No place really to hang multiple towels. Bedding was ok. Beds were comfortable. Unable to stream except Netflix. Location about 20-25 minutes from waterfront. Nothing really nearby. I’d give it 3.8 stars.

My husband and I recently stayed at the University Inn – Staypineapple while he was in Seattle for a heart transplant consultation at UW Medical Center, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during such an emotional and important trip. From the moment we arrived, we were met with kindness, warmth, and genuine care from every member of the staff. They went out of their way to make us feel not just welcome, but cared for — and in a time when we truly needed comfort, that meant everything. Our room was spotless, cozy, and full of charm. The signature Staypineapple bedding was heavenly — exactly the kind of comfort we needed after long, stressful days. The playful pineapple touches and attention to detail added a bit of joy and levity, which we didn’t realize we needed until we had it. The hotel is in a perfect location — close to UW Medical Center, in a walkable, vibrant neighborhood, with coffee shops and restaurants nearby. The complimentary coffee and snacks, as well as the chilled water bottles in the room, were thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. And the quiet, restful vibe of the hotel gave us the peace we were craving. This wasn’t just a place to sleep — it became a little sanctuary for us during a very personal journey. We are so grateful for the comfort, care, and warmth we found here, and we will absolutely be back when we return for the next stage of his care.

I had never heard of Staypineapple prior to staying there. It was such a great experience. The staff was super helpful and the complimentary beverage was a great surprise. The bedding was my favorite part, they have split comforters so no need to fight over the blanket. Also there were an abundance of pillows on both beds. Awesome hotel, highly recommend
