We have stayed here a number of times passing through but will probably not again. No internet. They said part on order! Not good. Room clean which is great there is a musty smell. Not good. Check in staff very good. But unable to get past smell did use another motel a month ago on same town. Dirty and had smell.

An older property that has been kept up on and is clean and comfortable. And yes, we ALWAYS check for bugs before putting anything on beds or taking anything out of our bags

When we arrived I told them I had a reservation & gave him my drivers license; I was told there was no reservation so I went ahead & got another room. When I got home we saw a double charge for the room & disputed with Travelocity. It took a week for the hotel to answer, only to be told their were no extra charges on our Travelocity stay & I must take up the second charge directly with the hotel. The hotel’s stance: we were charged for a no-show on the Travelocity room (the one I was told they couldn’t find the reservation in, which was in my legal name) & I put the second room (the one I got when they said I didn’t have a reservation) in my shortened name. So, we made a reservation for Friday night on Thursday & they called me on Thursday to ask if I would be arriving late that night & I told them the reservation was for Friday. When arrive on Friday they tell me I don’t have a reservation but will sell me a room. Then I supposedly ’no show’ for the original but they didn’t bother to call that time. When I called to dispute I was informed that they had no way of knowing it was me, in the room, that they said was a no show just because we have the same last name & address, because I didn’t use my full legal name on the second room even though their clerk was holding my license. When you get in the room-the towel bar is broken, the shower is dirty and best of all-someone has shoved a brownie in the ac unit & it’s been there a while.

It was fine for our purpose for this stay. We were using it for sleep basically since this was an outdoor/hiking/exploring trip. Wouldn’t book here if looking for more, not sure if there was a pool but our room was clean and had enough towels and air conditioner worked and great water pressure.
