Restaurant/lounge was listed under amenities. This was one reason we chose this facility. At time of check-in, they informed us there was no Restaurant or lounge. Only one elevator was operational. Indicators on the outside of elevators weren't functioning properly. Television had to be reset each morning to connect to watch. Shower didn't drain properly.

I normally don’t post reviews or comment on places, but if you’re planning to sleep in Texarkana, pass this place right on by!! I stayed here last October on my way back to San Antonio. It was far from a 5 star place then, but it was a solid 3.5. 10 months later, it went from eh, doable, to dear God avoid it like a cold sore sketchy! Restaurant, no longer there. The room, smells like sweat and bad decisions and the elevator has all the excitement of a wooden roller coaster missing most of the screws. When I told the front desk that I rode down with the grim reaper, she told he that she knew. I’m assuming he also walks her out to her car at night. It has the same snuggly safety feel as buying food from a homeless guy. Actually, this place makes buying food from a homeless guy seem like a solid decision.

The window in our room was just a sheet of plexiglass and not very secure. No hot water, walls were dirty, chair in our room had no legs on it so it was sitting on the floor, ceiling had a crack in it, black mold in the tub and sink. That is just some of the issues.

Grounds are full of weeds. Common area AC is window units and windows are cracked. Walls are worn and have patchy paint. I’m a wheelchair user and could barely fit through the bathroom door and had to use the lobby restroom for hygiene.

The pictures DO NOT match the state of the room. Very outdated, not clean and needs so many repairs! There is no way this should be a three star hotel. It might be 2 stars at best, but I have stayed at motels that were better.
Every cup had holes in the plastic wrapper.
The elevator is missing indicator covers and they don't light up.

Worst Ever - Filthy, Rundown, Smelly

Awful!!!! Rundown, dirty, non-functioning fire sprinkler, smelled awful, things broken, what looked liked like bloodstains on the ac unit, stains in the bathtub, filthy refrigerator that didn’t get more than slightly cool, only one coffee pod ( and it was decaf!), filthy hallway floors, floorboard coming up, curtains didn’t work. Elevator control panel falling off. Huge weeds in the beds and grass areas. I’ll never stay at a Wyndham property again. See photos!

It is astonishing that this establishment has not been condemned. It is unsafe, unsanitary, and unsuitable for hospitality. Mold on the walls, air vents hanging by their wiring, bodily fluids on the towels, dead roaches in the corner.. I lasted about 45 minutes before I just left.

I liked that I did not see any insect activity throughout the property and not in the rooms. I also liked that the staff was welcoming even at 2 am. However the property was dilapidated everywhere. The parking lot, the reception, the elevator, the carpet, the furniture, even the restrooms. It's hard to say it was clean when everthing is in disrepair. And the carpet wasn't just old, it was also sticky and gross. I expect this from a motel, but I paid for a Wyndham hotel, I am dissatisfied and disappointed.

Elevator was falling apart, no coffee in my room, said they ran out! No bath Matt or extra towels. Breakfast was at 6:30 am, the time I needed to leave. Would have been nice at 6 am. The entire place was run down. Won’t stay there again.
