We stay at this Candlewood twice a year - spring and fall - while we are in the area to visit family. The facility and amenities are perfect for our needs - comfortable, roomy, a kitchenette, and very friendly staff.

The whole hotel smelled. Our room was very dirty and looked like it hadnt been cleaned. Everything in the room and hotel hasnt been updated in several years. The bed was terrible. The shower was cold. There was holes in the wall. The fixtures were rusted. All around terrible. The cleanliness of the room was the biggest issue. We ended not returning the second night. The worst room i have ever stayed in. Do not saty at this hotel.

It was fine. Hallways had all kinds of odor from guests. Work crews cooking everything with pungent smells culminating in a smelly hallway. Wall lights on side of bed did not work.

Has been my go to stay for years anytime we travel thru Texarkana but gotta say it's becoming a little run down. Hopefully upgrades are in the near future. But staff is ALWAYS super nice and the place is clean! Never had any trouble whatsoever!
