We added a twist of 60’s - 70’s decor to our modern home to create the perfect ambiance for those who love luxury and swanky style. The Retro Retreat is a great match for a solo or couples trip looking to get away from the regular day-to-day hustle. Rest, recharge your batteries, and enjoy the Florida sunshine during your stay!

Our 1 bedroom, open floor plan home has been updated to provide timeless elegance while fusing a funky-fresh decor! The home features a relaxing living room, spacious bedroom, full bathroom with tub and shower, cooking lovers’ dream kitchen and marble countertop island for meals & use it as a work from home space!

When you’re ready to take a break from your busy life, curl up under the covers of the spacious queen sized bed equipped with a comfortable memory foam mattress.

The bathrooms provide shampoo and conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, and extra towels, everything you need for a perfect stay! Can you dig it?

A short Uber ride of about five to ten minutes will get you to Busch Gardens, Downtown Tampa, Channelside, Armature Works, Hyde Park, South Tampa, The Port, Tampa International Airport, Lowry Park Zoo, The Aquarium, Raymond James Stadium, Amalie Arena, The Straz Center, and SO much more. This house is very centrally located.

Come hang out in the coolest part of Tampa Bay, the historic and trendy neighborhood of Seminole Heights!

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire home! Your home is located behind the main house, here’s how to easily get there.

1. When you arrive, park on the street in front of the house (not in the driveway, that is dedicated to the guests in the main home.)

2. Look for the red pavers on the left hand side of the home and follow them to the wooden gate.

3. Enter the gate code and you’ll see your unit- The Retro Retreat! Enter your front door keyless entry code and voila, you’ve arrived at your home away from home!

The Neighborhood:
This home is located in the highly sought after historic district of Seminole Heights. The quiet cobblestone streets make the perfect place for an evening stroll to a local restaurant or bar. Seminole Heights is known also as the foodie district of Tampa, and is central to all Tampa has to offer.

Getting Around:
Guests can walk to local restaurants, coffee shops, and bars very easily. (About a 3 to 10 minute walk depending on where you want to go.)

If guests are wanting to go Downtown, Channelside, to The Port, Armature Works, Straz Center, Amalie Arena or the Lowry Park Zoo it will be just a five minute drive or Uber drive away.

If guests are wanting to go to the Tampa International Airport, Busch Gardens International Mall, or Raymond James Stadium it will be about a 10-15 minute drive or Uber ride depending on traffic.

As mentioned, this location is superb and central to all Tampa has to offer.

Other Things to Note:
Please note the following:

1. Florida is Tropical. In such an environment, we frequently encounter local wildlife which includes insects. Our home is well maintained and treated regularly to reduce bug encounters . However, we cannot control the occasional bug creeping in to say hello or found dead (this a good sign as the place is treated). Unfortunately, we will not issue a refund for a dead or live occasional bug. It's Florida and that’s where we live. If you happen to see a bug just let us know we can spray for you! We do not foresee this being an issue during your stay but we must mention it.

2. This home is on a large lot with a main bungalow located in front of it. You’ll have complete privacy as your 1 bedroom home is completely detached from the main home, but please note that there is another rental house on the property.

3. Please do not park in the driveaway, this is dedicated for the main home. There is plenty of free street parking in front of the house though!

4. No keys to lose or to return- woohoo! You can enter with your personal smart lock code that will be sent to you in a message after you book!

5. We do politely ask guests to respect quiet hours from 10pm-8am both inside and outside for our neighbors.


Our Policies:

NO SMOKING INSIDE: Please refrain from smoking inside the home! Any smoking evidence, including vapes, will result in a fee for odor removal, duct cleaning, and furniture cleaning.

NO PARTIES/EVENTS: We do not allow parties or events unless it is previously approved by us. We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits.

BE CONSIDERATE OF NEIGHBORS: We love our neighbors and ask you to be considerate of their space! If you are smoking on the deck or hanging out outside, please be mindful to clean up after yourself and maintain quiet hours of 10:00PM to 8:00 AM.
