The location was WONDERFUL for shopping and too far from the Downtown area. As for the room, we were given a handicapped room (not required) and the microwave did not work (reported to staff but no follow up was provided). Th room was in conjunction to another room which the neighbors children tried to open the door to our room during the early morning hours, the children were yelling and screaming most of the evening and night as well. We asked to be relocated to another room and our requests were properly addressed (thanks to the wonderful staff). After our concerns were corrected, we then had a pleasant stay.

- The TV clearly had fallen off the dresser before and was split open - The shower was gross and outdated. - The bed was a plank of wood with a blanket on it and had what appeared to be couch pillows? - The toilet barely flushed and the drain in the sink was clogged. - The walls were beaten up and had marks everywhere. Staff was actually not bad but every person staying there looks like they've been to jail at least twice… cherry on top was one of them doing donuts in the middle of the intersection outside before checking in for the night.

Check-in was easy and quick. The room(s) were clean and spacious. The location of the hotel was convenient and safe. Parking was plentiful. We knew on this trip that we would be spending very little time in the hotel room as our itinerary was packed. We realized on the second day that there was no hot water in our shower. We reported it and were hoping that it would be fixed by the next morning. We used hot water from the sink and a washrag to rinse off. Morning arrived and there still was no hot water available to shower. The front desk gave us a new room for the last night of our stay (an upgrade to the executive suite). Someone had supposedly checked the hot water in the shower of this room, but as we realized on our last night, the hot water did not work in that shower either. We were able to take a semi-warm shower on our last night. Since we stayed in both an even and odd numbered room, I suggest asking for an even numbered room if you do not want to hear the road noise. We often choose to stay at CI&S typically have no complaints, but this stay was not what we expected.
