If you find yourself roaming around in Taiwan and are planning on doing a stint in Taichung, there are a small number of hotels, apartments and other accommodation options. Downtown Taichung has 5 modern accommodations within a 6-mile (10-kilometer) distance.

There are only a small number hotels that are located within walking distance of the downtown area of Taichung. The Garden Life Homestay is an ideal choice as it is just 2 miles (3 kilometers) away.

North District, a neighborhood in Taichung with 17 Travelocity-approved hotels, is about 11 miles (17 kilometers) from the heart of the city. Considered some of the better known of the hotel establishments in this neighborhood of the city are the Full Spring Hotel Taichung and Ren Mei Fashion Hotel.

West District and Xitun District are another two popular accommodation neighborhoods.
