Great lodge in a great location!

Great lodge in a great location! Room was small but comfortable. Great location for Zermatt/Matterhorn activities. Easy access to room and garage. Room was warm without the windows open, and a bit noisy with them open.

Hotel was very convenient being right next to the train station to go into Zermatt. There are a few dining options across the street along with a small supermarket. It has paid parking available for 10 Swiss francs a night. I was in a room that was in am the newer wing of the hotel so the bathroom and room were in pretty good condition, and everything was clean. The included hot breakfast was a nice plus.

Pros: - Very Accomodating Front Desk. - Beautiful views from our room. - clean Spacious room and bathroom - we love the balcony. - good breakfast - Very close to the train station. ( less than 5min walk) The only con is there’s no air conditioning. But since it’s not too hot during our stay so it’s not really an issue for us.
