1) Breakfast was terrible 2) Moldy smell throughout the facility 3) Poor housekeeping service -"service on request only" 4) Prices were more than doubled due to the NYS Fair Overall, would not stay again.

I went to Syracuse for a campus visit with my daughter and not knowing where to stay decided on this place because the price was good. What a mistake. The hotel is very run-down, smells, and the service is terrible. I asked for the wi-fi password and the very put-out desk clerk said that it was on my key holder. It wasn't. I asked for an extra blanket and the very put-out desk clerk gave me one that smelled of mildew. I put it in the closet because it smelled so bad. I didn't even bother asking for another one. When the maid came in the morning to clean our room, I asked her to come back little later because we weren't ready to leave for the day yet. She gave me attitude and said that my room was the last one that she had to do. It was 11:00am. They seem to run this place for their convenience and not the guests. Next time I will pay double and go to the Sheraton instead. Not worth the price for this place.

Air conditioner broken in main lobby and in dining room on sign in. Staff sent us to a room around the far end of building and neglected to adequately explain how to find the our entrance way. First room, air conditioning unit was not working and air conditioning panel/cover was hanging off the unit. Room was hot, stuffy, and smelled bad. Phone did not initially worked Called to front desk on my cell phone and staff said they would find someone from maintenance and would call me back. 20 minutes later received no call back. I called front desk staff. They explained no one from maintenance wa available and that they had left me a message on my cell . They said they would put us in another room. They did. We were exhausted fro a long day. Our room was dirty. We were provided with a wash cloth with yellowing poop like stains on it. The curtain to the had holes in it. The microwave did not work and there were a number of extension chords that we were supposed to chose from in hopes of getting it to work. Our bathroom sink had dirt.cracks and rust in it. There was plenty of dust. The fire alarm went off early in the morning and we had to dissemble it by standing on one of our upholstered chairs to get it down. Our chair seats were covered in old stains The wall closest to the left side of the bed appeared to have small smears of blood and some strands of hair on it. The common areas (steps and carpeting) were just as filthy and as unappealing as our room
