What a treat after long travel overseas! I was delighted they let me freshen up in the spa while my room was being readied. Vini gave me excellent directions to walk around. Location is quiet but walkable to everything. Service is top notch, room comfy. Would love to stay here again.

I’ve stayed at The Langham in London and expected the same standards here. Sadly it disappointed. The hotel itself is lovely, but the service and attention to detail (with a coupe of exceptions in the bar) was underwhelming and, at times, absent. I had billing errors, poor understanding of my very clear English requests, errors with room service, a very poor breakfast service in the restaurant, an inability to get the ‘legendary’ afternoon tea - apparently there is only one sitting and it has to be prebooked (which no one told me until I turned up at 3pm today to find no afternoon tea service), and there was no crème de cassis for the kir royale I ordered. Genuinely underwhelming, disappointing and I am unlikely to return. Sydney has other hotels that are more on point these days. A great shame. A very underwhelming experience

Lovely place to stay and relax away from the main city hustle. The hotel was clean and the facilities were charming. I was a bit annoyed the checkin agent tried to sign me up for marketing and the loyalty program without expressed consent. I read what I was signing and pointed out that I did not want marketing and loyalty program sign up, which had already been ticked for me. This was then changed thankfully. Not ideal

Always love the langham

My favorite chain of hotels. Beautiful, clean quiet and comfy. Great amenities and location. You walk in and literally go wow. I love it. Soft carpet, comfortable beds and big bathroom.

My husband and I were there for 4 nights celebrating his retirement.The city view room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. We both enjoyed a passage at Chuan Spa the day we flew in which was luxurious and relaxing. The hotel pool was bigger than expected and very relaxing to swim in. We loved the residential feel of the neighbourhood with easy walking distance to the waterfront and CBD. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Staying at The Langham Sydney feels like one long, luxurious exhale. From the moment you arrive, you’re wrapped in a sense of calm and indulgence that’s hard to find anywhere else. The attention to detail is remarkable — every corner, every interaction feels considered. We especially loved the day spa (an experience in itself), where the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Breakfast here is exceptional — one of the best and most diverse selections I’ve seen, catering beautifully to every taste. The Langham is an old-world beauty, but she never loses her grace, style, or impact. Time may pass, but her elegance endures. A stay here is truly a gift to yourself.
