Right opposite Manly beach, a tradtional 2 storey hotel. Rooms are quite small but clean and well furnished. There are several bars that serve until late including a rooftop one with great views over the beach. Breakfast is a single choice off a set menu but it was great quality. Unlimited tea and coffee was available. Great location at a good price would stay again

Awful experience. No notice of ongoing construction works at the hotel were received before booking or prior to arrival. Awoken at 07.15a.m every morning by construction noise. Drilling, breaking, chatter from workers everyday. Midway through the week works progressed to directly opposite my room, was awoken by workers hammering directly outside my room less than 1m away, no segregation of works, dust and building materials in corridors, fire and security doirs wedged open and having to squeeze past workers whilst leaving room. Fire alarm was activated twice during the week meaning meaning we had to evacuate, false alarms caused by construction work. Complained twice to staff whilst on site, advised to e mail manager as he wasnt on site, have e mailed twice and submitted contact through the group contact page and no response at all. Other reviews & reports of noise from street scene and noise in the bars also accurate. AVOID if you value rest and relaxation.

Excellent stay. Checkin staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but functional for a 3 day stay. My only criticism is the shower overflowed onto the floor each time we used it. But that is more of a design issue than anything. It didnt impact us at all. Breakfast was great with a wide choice of options. Great location. Will stay again.
