I stayed at Hotel Park 10 for nine nights, and while there were some highlights, my experience was tarnished by a significant issue. The hotel’s location was fantastic, the breakfast was delightful, and the water pressure was outstanding—one of the best features. However, the outdated furniture in the room was disappointing.
The major downside of my stay was the behavior of one of the evening reception staff members with curly hair. During a conversation at the front desk, she spoke to me in a highly disrespectful manner in front of my guest and another person. Despite my calm and respectful demeanor, her approach was belittling and inappropriate, leaving me embarrassed.
After my guest left, I privately explained to her how inappropriate it was to address the matter in front of others. Unfortunately, she seemed unwilling to see my perspective and instead insisted on defending her approach. This could have been handled discreetly—either by addressing me in private afterward or calling my room to discuss the matter later. Instead, she made a spectacle of the situation, which reflects poor customer service and a lack of professionalism.
I respect hotel policies and would always comply when made aware of them, but the manner of communication matters. This incident left a lasting negative impression despite the positive aspects of the stay. I hope the management addresses such issues to ensure better guest experience in the future.
