Even though I reserved and paid for a room with 2 queen size beds for 2 adults, I was given a room with one single bed. When I showed the staff at hotel my reservation, they said they were full and could not give me the room I reserved and paid for. When I asked for a refund, I was told that because I made the reservation through a 3rd party app, they could not do anything. Then why did you accept the reservation. Staff behind desk are very rude. I will not be back.

Staff was flat meaning not happy or conversational. I got handed a key and had to ask about breakfast, amenities, etc. The room was dirty and the toilet was dangerously extra low. One time we exited the elevator to have a big dog come at us. The woman who had him on a leash could hardly pull him back. I don’t want dogs in a hotel in the first place, but at the very least they should be required to have a no bite muzzle on. I guess someone will have to get bit and sue for hotels to enforce this common sense measure. Also, they had a handwritten sign on a whiteboard in the lobby as you entered saying housekeeping is done every other day not daily. In other words, the staff is tired of being asked about it. They might try smiling and a kind word to make the stay a little bit nicer.
