Stillwater has only one hotel. So if you had hoped to stay near Stillwater's main area, we recommend you book early.

A fantastic option for the trip where you would like to stay just a short walk from central Stillwater, is the Stillwater Beach House Bed & Breakfast.

It's worth having a look at the Painted Boat Resort along with the Powell River Town Centre Hotel. The Painted Boat Resort is just 15 miles (25 kilometers) outside of the main part of Stillwater. The Powell River Town Centre Hotel, is situated 12 miles (19 kilometers) away. Alternatively, you may wish to book a bed at the Enchanter Oceanview Suites or the Francis Point Bed & Breakfast.

Researching so you can move a bit out of the center? Vancouver Coast lays claim to many exciting attractions worth seeing. Get to know Vancouver Coast's old towns, fortresses and art museums. You could also take the time to check out the region's forests, rivers, streams and lakes. Fun-loving travelers can also take part in snowboarding in the region.

Gibsons is 40 miles (68 kilometers) southeast of Stillwater and is where you'll find Sunshine Coast Museum and Archives and Langdale Ferry Terminal. If you get to Gibsons, check out the Sunnycrest Motel and Cedars Inn Hotel & Convention Center. Or, you could stay in Sechelt, 30 miles (44 kilometers) southeast of Stillwater, where you can pick from the The Tuwanek Hotel and Spa and Sechelt Inlet B&B. When you stay in Sechelt, a couple of sights worth adding to your itinerary are the House of Hewhiwus and Sechelt Visitor Centre.

During your holiday, spend a few hours enjoying the skills of players with some of Sunshine Coast's sports fans at an engaging match. You'll find Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre 60 miles (94 kilometers) to the southeast of Stillwater. Anybody that would like to find accommodation close to the stadium should read about the Gage Residence at UBC or the West Coast Suites.

Situated 15 miles (24 kilometers) outside the city center of Stillwater is Pender Harbour Waterdrome Airport. Stay nearby at Madeira Park Bed and Breakfast or Paul's Cottage.

"The manager was fantastic. Very friendly and welcoming, even though we came in late. This building really was the old court house and each room in the building, from the 1910s or so, has been converted. The decor, strangely enough, reminds you of Asia or perhaps Asian fascination from that period of time. Downstairs is the equally fascinating Edie Rae cafe where you will get the best breakfast (free with your booking) that I have had in a long time. The location is the old section of town. Since the mill closed the area has suffered, but there are many great buildings to look at. Downtown for shopping is a 10 minute drive. I can't recommend this place enough."
