The manager of the property was friendly, communicative and is doing the best they can with the condition of this property. The gate code was not working and looking back at 3yrs of reviews it appears it’s always been a problem. The main bed was horribly uncomfortable and the comforter was just ick gross. It did have a newer pull out couch that I slepted on. The linens did look and feel freshly laundered(thank you!!!!!!). Some updated flooring, but it wasn’t clean. Walking bear foot resulted in black feet and the floor felt sticky. The refrigerator is about to die, it makes odd noises when the compressor kicks in and at its highest setting never froze a water bottle after a 2 night stay. I feel the manager is doing the best he can with what he’s given, which isn’t much…..this place needs a complete overhaul. Parking can be a pain if you arrive at high time for beach goers. The manager was very polite and accommodating to get me a parking pass and a better parking spot than my initial 11/2 block walk. Also the door to the room has no dead bolt for security, although it wouldn’t have mattered as the windows are so old and loose that a car going by playing loud bass rattles them so hard I thought they would break on their own. Oh, there was an attempt to install a slide latch, but it had been bent into a shape that rendered it inoperable. Love the location to the beach!

Friendly staff on site. However we were disappointed with the overall condition of the room and the condition of furniture. The room is in need of some TLC. Pool area is nice and proximity to beach is great.

Furniture is very well maintained.Yes, it has old look just to keep old Florida spirit since most of our guest prefer it that way. I liked it was convenient to beach access, however, not a lit of designated parking for hotel until AFTER people from beach leave for the day before you get your hotel parking pass and offered free parking pass after they leave.

We understand your frustration but that is how it gets during busy season and that's why we request our guest to use free service available on the beach. We do have limited parking across the street for emergency. Thank you for staying with us.

The room’s size was very good. 2 bathrooms and a separate bedroom was a real plus. Location is also good. Very convenient to the beach, Frenchy’s, and The Paviliion.

Excellent location - 1 block from the beach. Mike was excellent and provided all info for our late arrival. Master bed was comfortable, but sofa bed was uncomfortable. Overall was good, but not very clean. More TLC and updates (painting, upholstery and cushion cleaning, better draining tub) would definitely make things much better. Other reviews showed 5/5 and some 1/5. I believe it's room specific. We were in room 203, which was fine for a guys time at a beach motel. On the other hand, my wife would have saw it and wanted to leave.
