Weekend stay

The stay was fine however when we arrived we were informed the pool was closed for the afternoon which is what we had planned to do that day. Surprised we had no room service for this level hotel either. There was no coffee in the lobby on our final day which was a bummer too. Rooftop bar was nice and staff was very friendly.

I come to Clearwater Beach ferry often at least a few times a year and I live in the Midwest. I usually stay at the Hilton this time. I decided to try something else. I really did like this modern hotel. The only thing that sucked about it is it didn’t have a full dresser for everyone’s clothes so we just kinda had to lay everything out on the bench and we also didn’t get a balcony. We are frequent beach covers when we go to Clearwater Beach so the room did get filled up with sand and we didn’t have much room to put our wet towels from the beach and swimsuits like we would put on the balcony to dry if we had one other than that it was a great stay I wouldn’t listen to the other bad reviews. The hotel was amazing. It sucked that the door was broken and that other people in the reviews said the door was broken. They need to call someone and get that fixed cause it’s just not worth the money. I paid to have to walk around like a Mickey Mouse maze, but other than that it was great. I would go back to Clearwater and stay at the Hilton, but this place is awesome.

We chose this hotel for its prime beachfront location. After flying into Tampa, we relied on walking or Uber for transportation, and the hotel’s convenient position made this easy. The beach was just a short stroll away, about a few hundred yards. Mornings were delightful with nearby coffee shops, and King’s Pizza, a fantastic restaurant just steps away, became a frequent stop. Plenty of dining options were within walking distance, adding to the convenience. Despite a category 5 hurricane hitting only eight months earlier, the hotel and surrounding area showed minimal damage—a testament to the community’s resilience. The lobby and its elegant bar exuded sophistication. The hotel offered a European-style breakfast, which we skipped, preferring a heartier American-style meal. My main gripe was the pool area: while the pool itself was decently sized, shade was scarce, with only four umbrellas available. By late afternoon, the deck was fully exposed to the intense Florida sun, making long stays uncomfortable. Additionally, the pool closed at dusk, which felt restrictive, and the absence of a hot tub was a missed opportunity for relaxing after a beach day. The hotel caters well to couples, which suited us perfectly. Our room was spacious but minimalistic, with just two drawers and a small hanging area for storage.
