The place was under renovation. our room had damage to some items which we took pictures of but was a minor issue. room did have an odd odor but minor. no breakfast due to renovation and lots of cosmetic issues. check-in was long also due to renovation. was a good location.

We have stayed here before and will definitely be back. Very clean and comfortable. Staff members were very helpful and accommodating. Common areas need a bit of sprucing up, but it looks like that is about to begin after the holidays.

Do not recommend this hotel anymore. It's fairly new, maybe 5 years old. In St. Augustine's historic district, there are a lot of old places to stay (many over 100 years old), but even those are not rundown and mis-cared for like this place. I sent feedback directly to the company with a huge list of issues, but overall was not clean (both inside and pool area), unfriendly staff and in need of many repairs both aesthetic and maintenance. Very disappointed because we have stayed at this hotel before and it used to be nice.

The condition of the hotel is not very good. The online pictures do not show what the hotel really is. Tried to cancel my booking once I was there. But was charged full price either way. Front desk was no help with cancellation. I ended up going to a different hotel. Zero stars…

Staff not welcoming at all. Had to request cleaning of room and clean towels. Room was just OK. It was very convenient to most attractions. If you have Verizon internet service, it rarely worked in hotel. Pay more for a patio which ended up not having chairs on it and it overlooked the parking lot and a construction site. Do not recommend this hotel. saw many others that looked nicer and were just as convenient.

No microwaves in room, ice machine did not work. They should have coffee in the lobby. Front desk not friendly. Room was clean. Have to pay for parking even though it’s the hotel parking lot.
