¡Venga a hospedarse en una de las casas estilo rancho originales de Davis Shores que está cerca de todo! Construida en 1952, Cottage Avista tiene muchos de los encantos originales de ayer que aún están intactos y se encuentra en el único círculo en North Davis Shores. ¡Una comunidad muy pequeña con tráfico mínimo y privacidad extra! Disfrutará de las vistas, los sonidos y la brisa de la isla, ya que está tan cerca de la bahía y del centro.
Esta es la casa de tamaño perfecto para unas vacaciones familiares con una gran cocina bien remodelada y bien equipada y dos habitaciones (la principal con una cómoda cama tamaño king y la segunda habitación es de tamaño queen). También hay un sofá cama tamaño queen en el estudio.
Caminar o andar en bicicleta por el puente de los Leones para explorar la ciudad. Tenemos varias bicicletas para nuestros huéspedes, sin embargo, si se quedan, disfruten de la puesta de sol en la envoltura alrededor del porche delantero. The space was excellent…absolutely loved having the screened in porch and fenced backyard. The location was quiet and safe. It was nice to have some basic needs at the house. The host was super friendly and great communicating!

The host was very responsive and made sure we were comfortable and all our needs were met. The house was in a great location for us as we wanted to be within walking distance to St. Augustine (18-20 minutes) but in a quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again.

Stephen provided excellent communication and support. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We walked over the Lions Bridge into St Augustine twice during our stay. We also drove to Anastasia State Park and St Augustine Beach. Both are lovely and within a short drive. So the location of the cottage is ideal. The cottage itself is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen has everything one could need. We hope to be back.

Good location - just across the lion's bridge from town. House is as shown in photos. Nice privacy fenced yard. Great TV.
The bathrooms are small and old. No grab bar to hold.

He seemed very welcoming - taking the time to tell us about good places to eat and things to do. Prior to that, we didn't know anything about the Festival of Lights. We enjoyed his recommendation to visit the Fort and the Basilica.The house was very comfortable and well equipped. The backyard was very private and it was great to relax with our dog. She loved being able to run around the well maintained lawn. The house had one of the best kitchens!

The house was cute & had everything we needed for our stay. The backyard was very nice especially since we have a dog. We enjoyed playing darts in the garage. It was just a advertised. FYI - Bring your own drinking water (this isn't just for the house...restaurants too!) We would stay here again. Just as we were leaving a huge bald eagle landed in the big tree in the backyard!

Like being a local, if only for a week! Quiet neighborhood. Perfect for a relaxing stay. A location. One-mile bike ride to downtown St. Augustine historic district! Close to the lighthouse and State Park on Anastasia Island, too! The house is a cute 1952 bungalow with modern upgrades to the kitchen and living room. Screen porch with paddle fan and fully-fenced yard! So many excellent restaurants near by!

Steve was amazing from the minute we booked the property stating contact with us was very helpful the place was awesome very clean great location the only thing that my wife and I said that there was missing was they should be a book they had to sign and to tell people how I'll stay was there all in all five stars all the way for everything we'll definitely recommend the house and we'll try to stay there again.

Walkable to Historic St Augustine

The house is surrounded by garden and song birds. There is a game room in the garage, which is great for hanging out playing darts on rainy days. Well-equipped kitchen if you want to cook in, and there is a propane grill for cook outs (pork loins did just fine on it). There is a screen porch out back and outdoor front and side porches for hanging out in the afternoon with a cold beverage. Beautiful sunsets from the front porches!We walked across the bridge into historic St. Augustine several times - very safe. Enjoyed the Fort and all the history the town has to offer. Be sure to listen to the bells of the church in the main plaza. Restaurants abound, and the Osprey Taco place in the neighborhood has outstanding food. Be sure to check out Anastasia State Park for wide, beautiful, sandy beaches, and the hidden gem of the Ancient Dunes Trail there - lots of song birds in a maritime forest setting.The Alligator Farm is a wonderful zoological park - not a tourist trap. They do great work in world-wide reptile species preservation, and their staff are knowledgable and friendly. Worth the admission.Steve K was a great host - super responsive and thoughtful. Recommend him highly and we will book with him again when we next go to St. Augustine

St. Augustine VRBO review

My 86-year old mom and I stayed at this nicely appointed home in February 2025. The neighborhood was quiet and very walkable. There are 2-3 steps at each entrance to get into the home. I enjoyed the screened in sunroom. The furniture in the living area was comfortable as were the beds.There were games and puzzles in one of the closets of which we took advantage. I was looking forward to riding a bicycle but the weather was not warm enough. Communication with the home owner, Steve, was easy and he replied in a timely fashion. We would stay here again.

We loved staying on Anastasia Island in this cottage. It was just right and very comfortable. Very clean and had everything we needed. Kitchen was super nice. Loved the decor. The owner was great with communication. The yard was absolutely perfect for our dogs to run in. It was lovely sitting outside in the back yard and watching them. The covered back porch was a nice plus. It was very quiet and peaceful and close to everything we wanted to do.
