Beach vacation

House was very well equipped and while there were only 2 of us this house would be great for a larger group. We loved the pool and hot tub. The house was within walking distance to the beach which was very convenient.

Our stay at the Spacious LightHouse

We appreciated the spacious rooms with king size beds and twin size for kids. It was clean and the instructions were clear ,leaving no room for surprises. David and Patti responded promptly.Will look to stay here again if ever in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Off the record commend- wish there were bathrooms especially on the 3rd floor.clean. The instructions were very clear

Great Place to Stay

The property not just met, but exceeded our expectations. The bedrooms are large and the location is very good. 15 minutes to Historic downtown St. Augustine and so close to the beach. The owners, David & Patti were great to work with. They answered any question in a very timely fashion. We recommend this home to everyone. Five Stars

Great family space with ease to Beach

This property is spacious, well maintained and managed. Beautiful layout for families. So easy to drive to beach with vehicle access. Backyard is great! Fenced for pets and pool/spa was perfect. Quiet neighborhood!

Once again PERFECT!

This was our second stay at this property and everything was just as WONDERFUL as the first stay! The house is so big and roomy and the pool is perfect for every age! (Love the shallow area for the little ones) We never even left the pool for the beach, even though it’s just a short walk away! The kitchen is stocked and ready to accommodate everyone. This house has become our yearly family gathering spot and will continue to be our number one choice! Dave and Patti are awesome and always easy to get a hold of! The place is just PERFECT!

Awesome House

We had a great time! The house was perfect for our needs. Lots of space and rooms were great! The pool was awesome! Close to the beach. Crossing A1A was a little challenging at times but nothing that would prevent us from staying here again. All in all a great experience!

Great location and tons of space to visit

This was in a great location within a 10-minute walk to the beach, although we spent most of our time in the backyard. The pool was ideal for the grandkids and space to spread out - play in pool, relax in raised spa to watch kids or lounge on the deck or covered patio. We even had a small bonfire to enjoy on the hot summer night! Great place for families!

Family stay for a wedding.

The property was good for overall stay for large family wedding. But accuracy of listing on Vrbo was slightly off and disappointing. Location was OK. The size of the property was great, especially with the six bedrooms, all king beds with exception of one bedroom. some things that may need attention is upgrade condition as property seems worn a bit. Also, when you have this large property, you need to supply more towels. The kitchen was stocked very well with supplies to cook with and eat with including utensils and dishes. Make sure you pay attention to the listing as far as what the bathrooms offer. The first floor only has a toilet no shower second floor bathroom is shared by three of the bedrooms. The third floor bedroom has a nice seating area but does not have a bathroom so they have to share the bathroom on the second floor, which is very inconvenient. also, you do not have access to the triple garage. The exterior pool area is nice but needs to have a full size gas barbecue not a little charcoal Camp stove. We were aware from the listing that it was a charcoal grill, but not aware it was that small. We didn’t even use it because it was disgusting. Overall, it met our needs, but if we were to stay in the area again we would be closer we would be right on the beach. The listing says it is 3 blocks from the beach which is an accurate. It is a long 6 blocks.

Wonderful house, great vacation stay

This house is a great size for a big group. Hosts are friendly and communicative. Pool and spa kept the kids busy the whole time, and check in/check out were hassle free. We would definitely stay again. Only downside is that sounds travels a LOT in the house, so sleeping in and getting kids to sleep was a tad difficult. Totally worth it, though. Favorite parts were master bedroom balcony, back patio/covered area by the pool, and the loft/bedroom on the third floor, so our teenager had a private area to get away from the littler kids and hang with friends. Super close to the beach with free walk on access and not far at all from downtown St. Augustine. Highly recommend, it gave us a fantastic vacation.

Saint Augustine family trip

Beautiful spacious home, pleanty of room for multi family getaway. We enjoyed the pool and the spa. We walked all Saint Augustine and enjoyed the scenery, good food and grat company. The beach was great aswell. Can't wait to do it again.

Fabulous Family Retreat

We just spent the week of Christmas at the Lighthouse Beach Retreat....6 adults, 1 toddler, 1 baby, 2 dogs and a partridge in a pear tree (just kidding about the last part). The property is very clean, super spacious, comfortable and has all the things that you need to just show up, unpack and get the vacay started! Plenty of bedrooms and we loved the two separate living areas. The fire pit and heated spa were a huge hit and enjoyed immensely. The location is wonderful! The neighborhood is very quiet and the beach (and a great park for the kids) is within a short walking distance. It's a quick drive to Publix, putt putt golf and St. Augustine. David and Patti are superb hosts! Excellent communication, quick to respond to questions, detailed and easy to follow instructions. This property was just perfect for our family! A+++ Highly recommend.

Perfect!! Water pressure for showers was wonderful. Most places have bad water pressure, but not this house. Owners were very informative with information related to the home. House is very spacious. Close to the beach, close to attractions, and a quiet neighborhood. Would highly recommend this home. ❤️
