Parking lot seemed a bit sketchy

There was sketchy people with a ski mask wandering in the parking lot around 2am when checking in. I hope there were at least surveillance cameras

The furnishings were spartan, but i expected that. The room was clean. The mattress was lumpy and i awoke with back pain because of it. There was no hot water when i went to shave and shower at 1010 am. I called the front desk and they said they would look into it and get back to me. 40 minutes later, there was no feedbck. I took a cold shower (ugh) and packed up to leave. I asked the front desk for a $25 refund due to no hot water. They refused; said it would be fixed (this was at 1120) in 10 minutes and i would have until noon to checkout. I didn't really think they would have it fixed in 10 minutes, so i checked out and left. I thought they had a non-customer friendly attitude, and a "give a care" (not) disposition about the lack of hot water. They might be the cheapest place to stay in Springfield, but i recommend you spend more money and stay somewhere else. Also, they do not supply a little bottle of shampoo; only two small bars of soap in the bathroom for sink and shower.

The door needs to be looked at because it doesn’t close easily - it sticks. They do a good job with the cleanliness of the property. I just had a lousy experience when I wanted to book a couple more weeks and was told I couldn’t because my dogs made the room stink too much! So much for being pet friendly!
