Great place if it is just Bed and Breakfast you need. No lounge area as such, very small room and no bar. So okay as Pitlochry has lots of placrs to go to.

Beautiful quiet, location with great amenities. We enjoyed waking up to our view of the hills every day and using the hot tub in the evenings. We appreciated all of the information about nearby hikes and felt like we were able to fill unwind.

Fantastic room in the castle . Bar area in the evening lacked ambience. Given poor table for 65th birthday celebration at dinner but this was changed. I don’t think 4 mouthfuls of duck terrine starter is worth £18 although it was tasty. .

This lodge doesn't skimp on freebies - guests receive free WiFi and free self parking. A terrace, a garden, and a communal living room are also on offer.
Not our normal sort of place to stay but ideal for our circumstances. Lovely facilities and folk staying at the same time. Good self catering shared kitchen though only as we left did we tumble to the fact that Helen had provided some communal consumables in the kitchen - our loss.

Room was great, modern bathroom too for an old hotel. The spa area was a bit disappointing though, the whole area was chilly and the sauna & steam room were both very cold.
