"Hotel is conveniently located off of I10 but situated in an odd isolated spot behind an Outback restaurant and a multistory office building that share private roads and parking areas run into one another. Very confusing to navigate initially.
The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Only a single small elevator to get to rooms so proved to be inconvenient when trying to leave hotel with baggage; only room enough for one or two guests with baggage. Forget about getting inside if they used a dolly for luggage.
BEWARE: This hotel has “implemented a new policy” charging guests $5 to park at their hotel each night stayed. At check in, I wasn’t informed of it. When I saw it on my credit card as a separate charge I called to inquire and then voiced my complaint about their hidden fee. They are going to waive the fee for me but I’ve never heard of such a thing! It’s NOT a secured/gated parking lot; It’s not a reserved parking lot with an Attendee; there’s no parking valet service. There are no signs advising security cameras in place to warn off would be thieves and I don’t recall seeing any either. They didn’t ask if I had a vehicle when I checked in nor did they take any info regarding my vehicle. It’s not located in an area where parking is at a premium and you expect to pay for parking. It’s just your average hotel with parking on either side of building. There’s no justification for a $5/day parking fee. I’ll think twice before booking with this Marriott again."
