"Our two couples rented two Oceanside rooms at this classic South Pacific resort. The rooms were not fancy, but the overhead fan and air conditioning worked well and the view of the Lagoon and ocean was perfect. The beach and Lagoon were readily accessible; we enjoyed them daily. The pool was smaller than expected, and usually filled with families and their children. No problem for us as we came for the ocean and the beaches. The continental breakfast included in your stay was excellent and more than enough. We did pay for some additional breakfast items which were uniformly excellent. The lunch selections were also very good. The dinner shows were a lot of fun. The buffet meals that came with the shows were uneven. happy hour drinks from 5 to 6 PM and from 8 to 9 PM were definitely the best deal if you wanted to keep your bar tab to a minimum. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and felt that we got good value, and the South Pacific Island experience we were looking for."

"As usual the rooms were very clean and the staff so very friendly and welcomed us back as longtime friends, which we are. The continental breakfasts were fresh and very well presented and the meals were up to standard so much so that we didn't venture away from Little Poly for meals."

"Pacific Resort was the perfect escape from our busy lives. Spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained gardens and property, we felt at ease from the moment we were greeted at the airport with freshly made floral leis. The food and wine list were well considered and varied, we dined within the resort for 5 nights without feeling the need to go eat elsewhere. It was quiet, tranquil, the pool was immaculate and inviting, and we appreciated the use of snorkels and kayaks for the week. The snorkeling in the lagoon right out from our Bure was a highlight for us. As a parting gift to ourselves for our wedding anniversary was a couples massage on our final morning as we waited for our airport transfer. The Spa ladies did a wonderful job. A special thank you to the restaurant staff who looked after us all week, and for the amazing flowers on our anniversary dinner. We cannot recommend this more highly, if you are looking for utter relaxation in a very unique part of the world. "

"The staff were delightful. However if you react to mosquitos then definitely stay away from this hotel. From the moment I arrived I was being bitten. The hotel is totally open there is no escape. I was eaten alive in the gym to such an extent I had an allergic reaction and needed steroids. The room was average, I was disappointed. I spoke to reception regarding the possibility to upgrade but the hotel was full. In the room I had there was no mosquito net and the sliding door would not close properly. The bed was comfortable but I did not sleep too concerned I could not lock the door and for fear of more mozzie attacks. The duty manager kindly gave me her anti-mosquito plug after I complained to Expedia. My first plea for assistance fell on deaf ears - no we don't have those, no we have no mosquito nets around the bed. I decided to leave early (or end up in hospital) but the only flight I could get was the first one in the morning before a manager arrived to discuss a refund. The complaint is still on-going the hotel are refusing to refund the 2 nights I was not at the hotel. Expedia have offered "points". At the point of checking in there is a note about Dengue Fever! I feel the hotel failed to keep me safe and respect my circumstances and Expedia have not been able to secure a better outcome. I was desperately disappointed but I did enjoy an unexpected 2 further nights in Raro where the hotel Nautilus went out of their way to assist in keeping the mozzies away."

"Our Kia Orana villa was superb. Right from when we booked, the communication with Sane was superb, and that quality was reflected in the villa itself which was very well appointed and met every superlative said about it. If we go back to Raro, we will be looking to stay there again"
