We absolutely loved our stay here. Nothing beats enjoying a glass of wine or breakfast with stunning views of the lagoon. Having complimentary swimming gear right on the beach was such a bonus, and with access to not just one but two pools, it made our time even better. The room was spotless, tidy, and very comfortable with both air conditioning and fans. Even the reception staff went above and beyond, arranging a vehicle for us—such awesome service that really exceeded expectations. We’ll definitely be back!

Love this place…from the moment we were picked up at the airport everyone was friendly and worked hard to ensure are time at Tava’e was perfect…I wish I could bottle up the smell of the flower lei they give you at arrival as they are lovely smelling …we rented scooters from the front desk for two of are three days…super fun way to get around…Do not miss Kia Orana tour for the lagoon tour it is a must!!!!! Lovely family ran business..You visit many places and have lunch on their family island… Over all our visit to Tava’e and the island was the highlight of our time in the Cook Islands

Kudos to their top notch hospitality. They helped us with everything- last minute airport drop and pickup, booked the best lagoon tour, booked table for dinner, helped us to get vehicle to get around places. Room had perfect beachfront views!

A great location at Aitutake !!! They looked after us well and there were a number of alternate eating opportunities nearby. Check-out was easy and we were able to use the pool / facilities until it was time to take the hotel courtesy van to the airport. We loved our stay. Thank you !

They didn’t notify guests of Tsunami. I assumed it wasn’t going to affect the Cook Islands. Later read there were warnings. Also a bit lax on identifying people’s luggage. Fortunately people are honest.

We got greeted at airport with lovely fresh flower Leis and transported back to hotel both ways, included in price. We stayed in lagoon view room 3. The food onsite restaurant was nice and prices were reasonable. People came from other resorts to eat at Tava’e restaurant. We didn’t use the pool’s as a little chilly in June. The sea was much much warmer. There was water equipment to use, paddle boards, kayaks etc with dedicated person to look after you all day. Island night was nice too. $80 for the smorgasbord with a small dance show afterwards. This place has everything you need here.

Nearly new, modern resort. Beachfront room was perfect as was the beach. Snorkelling off the beach was good too. Biggest gripe was the continental breakfast. Not much for $900 per night. Nice extra was being able to rent a scooter for the day for $30. Would return for sure.

All I can say is don't hesitate to book. We loved Aitutaki and this resort. I wish we stayed longer.... Our room was lovely as this resort is newer. The staff was outstanding. The beach was second to none and was never crowded. The restaurant was awesome with great service by John and Tharuru. The Polynesian show and island buffet was so fun and the food truly excellent. Front desk staff Tutu was so pleasant to work with. I would not hesitate to book again!!

The accommodation was clean and well presented, the meals we had there were tasty and good value. Disappointment was finding out when we arrived that both pools were unusable (Lime Green - no chemicals). It would be easy to notify the guests pre arrival or at arrival and perhaps offer a complimentary cocktail or similar.

We loved to beach area, however what dampened oyr visit was we could not arrange a late checkout. We were the only guests leaving on at 1.oo pm and checkin is 3 pm for any new quests. We have to wait outside filor 3 hours to get to airport with other place to go. Also they shut wifi off immediately at 10.30 so we couldnt contact any one. Believe no need for that.
