Our stay at this hotel was overall wonderful – the room was clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. However, the biggest frustration was the door lock. Using the key to open the room door was surprisingly difficult and often took several tries, which became frustrating after a long day out. Interestingly, locking the door when leaving was quick and easy – it was just getting back into the room that was a challenge. Aside from that issue, everything else about our stay was great, and we’d happily return if the door lock situation could be improved!

Location and waterfront view are amazing, able to walk to the beach safely and convenient. The place is outdated, there’s water leak from the ceiling on the half bathroom, they were able to send a technician to fix the leak so it wasn’t so bad. Unable to adjust the ac on the kitchen area. Will recommend this place.

This was our second stay at Sunchase iv. By far the best views for the price! Spacious and so cute! Breakfast, lunch and dinner with an ocean view! What a wonderful memory for our family. Thank you South Padre Rentals!

The building itself was dated, however, the location and views of the beach and the bay were all worth the price. The walk to the beach was easy to make and safe for children. The property is in the heart of SPI with beach shops, restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. The unit we stayed in was updated and made the trip feel like home! I would happily stay there again.

Very clean and spacious. Amazing views great beach access. Pools and hot tubs were nice and never too crowded. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped. Door ley/lock was tricky. Hopefully they will look into it. Overall great place to stay, hopefully we will go back. Definitely recommend!!
