"This is a very nice, cozy, private cabin. It has all you need for your stay. The cabin has plenty of windows so you don't feel inside all the time. The porch fireplace is great. The lake view from the hike up the trail is nice at sunset. I listened to the owls in the dark and the geese at daylight. Now it had rained for about 10 hrs before I got there, so I brought tire chains just in case. But I didn't need them. My extended cab, long bed, 2 wheel drive dually had no problems. I just put it in first gear at the start and drove up according to the instructions that were sent. At every switchback I just did the 3 pt turn and kept going all the way to the top. The driveway is really in good shape, even with all the rain. Coming down was just the same and easy. It was really a nice place to visit and unwind."

"The cabin was cozy and just what we needed a a stop over on our trip. We enjoyed seeing the drive through lights at Bristol Motor Speedway and the downtown restaurants were good. The cabin was clean and stocked with coffee. We loved hearing the creek outside in the morning. "

"We’ve stayed at a number of VRBO’s and other vacation properties, and we agree that this is the best ever. First, the pictures (which are lovely) understate the property - it is simply beautiful inside and out. From the furniture, linens, and accessories to the original artwork throughout, everything is tastefully and artfully done. We spent hours indoors on the chilly Thanksgiving weekend, and kept remarking at how great it felt to live there.The kitchen is outfitted with everything we needed to cook great meals, with modern appliances, a complete set of accessories and full spice and condiments cabinet.Our hosts were as thoughtful in our interactions as they were in preparing their home - they accommodated a late schedule change and responded quickly to every question. We arrived to find freshly ground coffee and treats from Blackbird Bakery and a fridge stocked with spring water for our use.All in all, a delightful visit that left us renewed and refreshed. We look forward to the next stay!"

"We were in town for the Nascar races at Bristol. This is a great location to get away for some peacefulness but still be close to the track. This house is a well-kept, clean house, with a great view. Plenty of seating inside and out. The only issue we had was that this house was listed as a 5 bedroom (2 Queen, 4 Double, 1Twin) sleeping 12. When we showed up there were only 4 bedrooms (2 Queen, 2 Double, 1 Twin), one bedroom of which you must walk through in order to get to another bedroom. We went from having 7 beds to 5. This made it interesting finding sleeping arrangements for the 9 of us when not everyone married or small in size. We did make do sleeping on couches but not at all what we were expecting, nor what was listed when we reserved the hours. The landlord did update after we reached out but still does list too many beds, as of when we left the house there were 2 queens, 2 doubles, 1 twin, and a futon. Very disappointed with the landlord who would not work with us on this, we didn't even get a "sorry, we did mess that up"."
