"This is a very nice, cozy, private cabin. It has all you need for your stay. The cabin has plenty of windows so you don't feel inside all the time. The porch fireplace is great. The lake view from the hike up the trail is nice at sunset. I listened to the owls in the dark and the geese at daylight. Now it had rained for about 10 hrs before I got there, so I brought tire chains just in case. But I didn't need them. My extended cab, long bed, 2 wheel drive dually had no problems. I just put it in first gear at the start and drove up according to the instructions that were sent. At every switchback I just did the 3 pt turn and kept going all the way to the top. The driveway is really in good shape, even with all the rain. Coming down was just the same and easy. It was really a nice place to visit and unwind."

First, the pictures (which are lovely) understate the property - it is simply beautiful inside and out. From the furniture, linens, and accessories to the original artwork throughout, everything is tastefully and artfully done. We spent hours indoors on the chilly Thanksgiving weekend, and kept remarking at how great it felt to live there.The kitchen is outfitted with everything we needed to cook great meals, with modern appliances, a complete set of accessories and full spice and condiments cabinet.Our hosts were as thoughtful in our interactions as they were in preparing their home - they accommodated a late schedule change and responded quickly to every question. We arrived to find freshly ground coffee and treats from Blackbird Bakery and a fridge stocked with spring water for our use.All in all, a delightful visit that left us renewed and refreshed. We look forward to the next stay!"
