"This is a very old hotel that has been modernized and I think the new owners did a fantastic job in making it feel modern while keeping the historical value and charm of the property. Check-in was a breeze. The rooms are very small and there’s no place to put your suitcase. In our particular room, 307, there’s an entryway with a closet that kind of seemed useless. At least if they had one of those folding trays that you could open your suitcase to put on it that would’ve been better. But overall, morning breakfast at the Pittman Café was OK. Nothing special. But the lobby and the Jack Dempsey bar have a very cool vibe to it. We actually had dinner one night in the Jack Dempsey bar and the food came from the kitchen and it was quite good. All depends on what you expect from this updated antique hotel."
