The customer service has really gone downhill. We have stayed here in the past and have enjoyed it. This stay we found some of the staff to be incredibly rude. There were some friendly people, but the rude ones unfortunately ruined it for us. I wish I had people's names. The breakfast restaurant had no help. You have to order at the counter with an unfriendly hostess, then she delivers it on plastic plates with plastic forks, and you will never see her again. Coffee and water are self-serve. If you order and pay for anything else, you never get it. It's not cheap either, on the high price end for breakfast. They say they can't find staff but the other restaurants around town were all well-staffed with friendly people. The common areas were very dirty and had not seen a vacuum in some time. We were very disappointed with our stay.

From check in to check out this was fabulous ! The decor was richly done and I felt like I stepped back in time . The room was small but comfy. Coffee in room is a nice touch for sure . The room was updated but felt historic . Super comfy beds, pillows and linens . Maybe next trip I will try the sister hotel Belvada but maybe not as I enjoyed my stay at the Mitzpah so much . Great staff also ! !

The room was spacious, the bathtub was a nice size (I'm 5'11"), the staff was very polite and helpful. I absolutely intend on returning. Though I didn't have any eventful encounters I had a wonderful time!

Wish I had known more about the history of the hotel - I would've asked for a different floor for experience! But this was a great place to stay and would love to come back and spend more time walking around the town. Be sure and visit the mine behind the hotel. Lots of history and this beautiful hotel was like a step back in time. Beautiful and charming

When going thru Tonopah on my way to somewhere else, its either the Mitzpah or the Belvada. Why stay anywhere else?

The original room they gave me had an issue with the a/c. I spoke with john at the front desk and he changed my room and upgraded it as well. The second room was perfect. Thank you john for your great customer service. I'll definitely return.

We went there for our 10 year anniversary and our stay was awesome. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The room we stayed in was beautiful and very clean. We decided to take the late night ghost tour and it did not dissapoint. It was a tour full of great information about the history of the place and the ghosts that live there. We ate at the Jack Dempsey room and the food was great. Breakfast in the Pittman Cafe was just as good. We will definitely stay there again.
