Hunted hotel

We didn’t stay here. When I was checking in the tv shows that the mizpha hotel was one of the most hunted hotels in Nevada. Thats when I said nope, and turn my keys back in. We will not stay in a hunted hotel. If I have known about it I wouldn’t have booked the hotel.

Beautifully restored property. The bed! I can't say enough about how comfortable this bed was. The rooms are very quiet at night and so is the area, we slept with the window open, and it was just perfectly quiet. The front desk was very friendly and even went above and beyond to go buy some tums for my boyfriend, because they were out, and bring them to the hotel for him. The coffee shop opens at 6:30 am and they make a great latte. They use LavAzza coffee, which was a bonus for me. This is now one of our favorite hotels and we will be back.

Nice hotel Spacious rooms that are super clean. Man at counter was busy doing something on his phone when I came to counter and didn’t acknowledge me. I had to ask if this was where I checked in. He was ok after that but lacked personality. The gal at checkout was a great improvement. The room was great but I was expecting a bath tub and the room had a small shower. The tile was beautiful but the grout needed a scrubbing. The shower had powerful water pressure with a control that only was on full blast for warm water. The shower head was just not suitable for that size of shower. My grandson came out of the shower laughing and my granddaughter opted for a cold shower to avoid the blast. All in all, I would definitely go back but I would get a room with a tub verses a shower.

Ok for a night, but for the price I expected more.

Got to the hotel around 9 pm and there was no one at the front desk, there was a sign with a number to call, had to drive to the edge of town to get service and then go the the hotel across the street to check in. This could have been easier with just stating to go to the other hotel. Got to the room and the key cards didn’t work, back across the street to get that fixed. The room was a great size on of the largest I ever stayed in. Beds were comfortable. The only thing wrong with the room is that one of the towels had a dirty hand print on it. The next morning went out to the car and the key cards didn’t work again. This was a moderately priced hotel, I expected better front desk service and better key cards. I will say that the customer service I got from the person at the other hotel, the Mitzpah, was excellent. I would stay there next time.

The stay was great after we got through the check in process. The person behind the counter wasn’t friendly and didn’t answer questions without provocation. It was not welcoming and left us struggling to figure out what was next and what we could do.
