Food was good, both breakfast and in the restaurant. The grounds were lovely to walk around. "The Bar area is a bit sterile looking as is the food area, set out a bit like a service station, Food was OK and reasonably prices as was the Alcoholic drinks Food service stops at 9pm, so if arriving late you'll struggle for food at the hotel Hotel is not very old , so its immaculate Recommended but i would eat elsewhere"

"Spent one night at The George. The staff were very friendly, check in was very smooth. Very knowledgeable about car parking in the town. Our room was very comfortable, clean and tidy. We slept well. The bathroom was well appointed, the shower was good and there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast was very good. My partner had a full English which he was very pleased with. I had poached eggs which were perfectly cooked. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area."
