Loved staying here for a quiet weekend away in February 2025. The rooms are good in size with freidge and coffee pot; clean linens, mirrors, etc. The breakfast is amazing and the pool was super relaxing but being so close to the shops and great food makes all the difference for us when in Duluth and we love the Inn.

Very nice visit, except for the annoying kids.

We had a great time, with a warm room, nice whirlpool tub, good shower and sauna. I also liked the breakfast. But the only major thing that bothered us was kids running around in the lobby after 10 pm, and neither the hotel staff nor the kids' parents were doing anything about it. This was extremely annoying. Also, I wish we had known in advance that you have to call to get a room with a whirlpool tub: they told us this only when we checked out.....they said it wasn't possible to do online (not sure why).

AWESOME!

Love staying here, the staff is always wonderful, it's clean and very comfortable. Best Hotel in Duluth. Been staying here for over 20 years and hope to be doing so for at least another 20. Excited to see the new renovations they are planning for the end of this year.

Weekend Family Getaway

Overall great experience. One area of improvement is breakfast, it is not great! Oatmeal was basically water, powdered eggs were not good at all and options were especially limited/difficult for folks with food sensitivities such as dairy.

Always a perfect stay at the Inn! Love the rooftop hot tub, the indoor sauna and pool and hot tub, the smores on the lake outside is so good! And the walkout room on the lake side is amazing! Breakfast was decent.

Property could definitely use some updates… our bathroom had some yellow discoloration on the walls and there was a hair tie on the ground filled with hair from a previous occupant that my toddler of course picked up right away… super gross. Yellow stain on the white comforter. I don’t like that the sleeper sofa had bedding tucked into it… looked old and wrinkled and you never know if it’s clean or has been in there for a long time so we didn’t use it. On the plus side, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, it’s in a great location, had a view of Lake Superior right out the window, and continental breakfast .

Nice location in Canal Park. Good breakfast spread. Fun to have a rooftop pool that is heated to 103 that my kids could swim outside in the middle of winter, however, no towels up on the roof top pool is a problem. My biggest complaint was the thin walls. We had neighbors up until 1am and could hear them laughing and their conversations all night. Otherwise, the room was nice and roomy.
