"As I entered the lobby, I was not greeted. Once I was being assisted the front desk clerk picked up the phone and spoke very rudely to a client. (Knowing I was standing right there) At one point she told him, “if you’re man enough you’ll come down here and talk to me.” My perception was that he wanted the 800 to file a complaint as well.
We chose this hotel due to having access to a pool since we have two children with ADHD we felt a pool was an area they could use up the energy from being in a vehicle for over 4 hours. We were saddened to see that the pool was closed. This was upsetting because there was no indication prior to the reservation that the pool was not available.
I understand due COVID things may have changed but we’ve stayed at two different hotels in the last year and both pools were open.
I will not be returning to this hotel again and works like to file a formal complaint with Comfort Inn. "
