"The peeling paint on the ceiling, unusably dim lighting, spotty temperature control on the shower/sink all could have been overlooked happily, but the non-functioning AC in the room is a sticking point. I requested facilities to look at it 3 days in a row, and it wasn't until the end of the third day a tech came to the room and told me it was just broken. Front desk staff begrudgingly listened to my complaints, but were unable to move my room as the hotel was full until Monday (my departure). Understandable issues given the volume, but being treated like an annoyance for a legitimate complaint left a sour test in my mouth."

"Upsetting that I was given a room that I had to haul all of my luggage up 16 steep stairs. No other room options. I had reserved a room months in advance. The front desk lady said a few stairs, which I found odd being that there is an elevator. Beware…the top floor is by stairs only! Front desk lady was very cold and almost robotic. Not at all friendly. The bed was extra firm. I was told all their beds are the same."

"Hotel Felix was in a fantastic location. The staff were very friendly. Our room on the 9th floor with 2 double beds was small, with only a mini fridge. The curtains were old and difficult to open and close. The WiFi would drop or was very slow. The television also provided issues, turning off or to the starting screen, multiple times. The hotel offered only coffee/tea and fresh fruit until 9am. The staff made our stay more enjoyable."
