My wife and I stayed for a long weekend at the HVC. With one minor "inconvenience" of the pools being closed for repairs (but honestly, it was 13 degrees outside so I am not so sure that would have been used). Our villa was spacious, inviting and well appointed. The fireplaces - yes fire place (s) - 2, worked so well we didnt turn on the heater. The bathroom shower was wonderful. The grounds were very neat and enjoyable. Overall a wonderful stay.

room needs racks and hooks for towels. The fact you have to strip the beds, gather trash and run dishwasher seemed a bit absurd. wanted to charge for amenities that we would not use. came back to our room and it was filled with help having to put out a fire that was accidently set. The smell was terrible. would have liked being called as to alert us!

The Villa was clean, including new, unused cookware to accommodate in-villa meals, which we prepared and enjoyed during our 1st Anniversary Celebration. The Staff was quite accommodating and courteous, sharing information and directions as needed. Most of all, we enjoyed our autonomy; no one came around haggling or performing maintenance, leaving us to enjoy our time there. I especially appreciated the staff locating a Villa on the main floor, as a person with physical limitations, before requesting as much; they were very insightful. We are looking forward to returning in the future, ever grateful for the opportunity to share our anniversary and my birthday in an amazing facility.

Everything was smooth. Megan checked me in. She had a great people personality. I enjoyed meeting her. We got a villa and it was clean, kitchen was stocked with utensils just in case. The bed was comfortable. The room was easy to find and nice and quiet.

Room was clean. Staff was very polite and helpful. However… stairs need to be lit up at evening time into night. We arrived after 4 and stairs were dark. And outside of building should have room number directions. We walked to wrong end of building just to turn around walk back to opposite end for our room location. If the outside of building told what rooms were in which direction, it would be helpful.
