This cabin was such a blessing to my family! The first thing that caught our eye was the beautiful welcome sign for our family! As you walk in the door you're greeted with the best playlist of 2025 top Christian hits! The home was so wonderful. It was so peaceful. They had a welcome basket of goodies (we so needed this) after the long drive and not wanting to stop before getting to the cabin. Fresh sodas and snacks. The furniture was comfy. The beds (all of them) were amazing. Plenty of soap/toiletries for the whole stay. We loved that they kept extra fans in the closet because we forgot ours and can't sleep without it. The game room was amazing and kept us occupied in our downtime. They offered so many games to play along with books and puzzles. The cabin was blessed with the spirit of Jesus. It was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. Legitimately one of the best places I've ever stayed at while on vacation! I recommend this cabin 10/10 from start to finish. The check in was so easy. The host sent us step by step instructions on how to get in. Step by step simple instructions for check out and didn't ask too much of you. I can't say enough good things about this place! PICK THEM! You won't regret it!

So we really did enjoy the cabin itself, there are a few things I'd note:1-the photos are not updated to what the cabin is actually like. The pictures make it look like you can access the upper and lower deck and you can't which isn't a huge deal but just something to note.2-The couches inside aren't the same as in the photos. Now both the couches are super comfortable but there aren't two recliners like what we thought we were originally getting.3-The house wasn't super clean. There wasn't trash or debris, but the floor didn't seem to be swept when we had gotten there. The soap dispensers also either didn't work in the bathrooms or they were emptied which I would assume a cleaning crew would check..Overall the place is beautiful, I will say it was a lot closer to the other cabins than I had realized but that isn't anything about the cabin or owners. The cabin was very homey and the beds slept AMAZING! Is nice for a one time stay or if you don't want to sightsee, but definitely more good than bad!

It was a perfect stay for my family, relaxed and very quiet. Plenty of room and the cabin was clean. They even customize a little welcome message for you! The cabin was exaclty as pictured. Everything was super clean, and the beds were super comfortable. My group really enjoyed the pool table.when we arrived, "Happy Birthday" was playing on the Alexa (too cute). We enjoyed sitting on the porch at night; so peaceful. I would NOT recommend 4 ppl showering at once bc the water runs cold pretty quickly.

Great weekend!!

We came up from MS for a church convention, and because I have a 1 year old who’s never been in a road trip before, I decided to find a condo/cabin for him and me and my mom. My brother, his gf, and her 3 year old also stayed with us. The cabin was perfect for us. The furniture was different than the pictures, but Darrell made me aware of that in our initial communication. When we got there, music was playing on an Alexa speaker. Everything was clean and the beds were super comfy. We actually made lasting memories there. My brother proposed to his gf on the deck the night we got there. It was the perfect setting. My son stood up on his own and stayed standing without holding onto anything for a full 30 seconds in the kitchen, which he’s never done before, so that was awesome. The only thing we didn’t like was the parking was tight. It fit our two vehicles, but because of the chimney, whoever parked next to it couldn’t open the door next to it. We made it work though, so it was fine. Douglas lake area is perfect for a quiet getaway. I’d definitely recommend the cabin to others, and we will keep it in mind for next year. Thank you Darrell for a lovely weekend!
