Great Cabin

We had a great stay. Kym was an excellent host and we appreciated the many little touches she includes in the cabin. The drive up the mountain can be a little worrisome at night in the rain and fog but otherwise we found it relaxing. We were excited to see bears twice during our stay. The views are incredible and would highly recommend this cabin.

Kym was so wonderful to deal with. She asked how we wanted the property decorated and it did not disappoint! We asked for Christmas decorations and the cabin was very festive! The beds were so comfy, she has thought of literally everything that you might need. Would highly recommend Moonlight Chalet to anyone looking for a cozy cabin with amazing views. Loved the attention to detail the owner provides. Would happily return to this property! And bonus was seeing bears roaming through the neighborhood on Thanksgiving night!

Wow! This place was absolutely perfect for our family of four and our two dogs. The hosts truly thought of everything. The cabin was incredibly well organized, spotless, and stocked with everything we needed—and then some. It was obvious that a tremendous amount of thought went into making sure guests could simply arrive, relax, and enjoy their stay without worrying about a thing. The amenities were fantastic. From the hot tub and pool table to the beautiful balconies, there were so many great places to unwind and take in the beauty of the Smoky Mountains. One of the highlights of our trip was seeing several bears, which we were able to safely watch right from the cabin’s balconies! The location is excellent—just a short drive to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg, and all the attractions in the area. Yet, when you’re at the cabin, you truly feel like you’re in the mountains. Waking up with a cup of coffee on the front porch while taking in the Smoky Mountain views was one of our favorite parts of the trip.Everything in the home was exceptionally well maintained, clean, and worked perfectly. This property is truly a 10 out of 10. We would stay here again without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an outstanding Smoky Mountain getaway.

Kym was a wonderful host. She left us detailed instructions a couple days before check-in and made arriving and getting in easy. She gave us several recommendations for great local grocery/dining and entertainment options. The cabin was very clean with a wonderful location. She provides a lot of the little things and makes it feel like home. The hot tub and game room were so much fun! Would definitely stay again! Great experience! Thanks for the wonderful stay!

We had an awesome stay at this calm and quiet place in the woods. Pretty easy to approach and all instructions were promptly provided by Kym before hand. The cabin was neat and fully stocked with all essentials. The kids had a blast in the nice warm hot tub with plenty of toys and puzzles. Adults enjoyed the pool table and awesome views of the forest. A must stay ! Do not miss!
