No reception for our phones tv channels was off barely was able to watch tv do to poor connection spider webs dead spider in jacuzzi outdoor furniture plus jacuzzi wast dirty there was a pot hole in the driveway that made it hard going upwards and the small roads should be 1 lane the views were amazing the cabin was equipped with needed essential love the peacefulness and the setup

Great place!

Our large group of 15 had a great time! We had no issues and there was excellent communication when we needed sowmthing or had a question! Would stay here again!

The location is great! However the house was dusty not very clean. Also they have two coffee machines which do not work it spill coffee every where. The carpet down stairs needs to be wash. The bathroom in the right when coming in the front door the tube was clogged.

Nice cabin lots of room. My dad got run off the road by a red dump truck doing construction in Shagbark, so most of one day was spent waiting on roadside service and the next day driving to Alcoa to get the car. But other than that it was a great trip! Nice property

Great vacation.

This was a beautiful cabin, very spacious. Really clean besides behind facet in one of the bathrooms was some mold. All in all it was a great cabin to stay in. Definitely recommend this cabin.

We booked this place for my parents anniversary months in advance. We got a call as we were 2 hours away and were informed our rental has been cancelled due to a safety issue but no other explanation.

Great Cabin to stay in

We had a large group of family and friends staying at the cabin for my sons wedding. We had the best time at the cabin. Kitchen was equipped with everyrhing you would need to cook a meal. Plenty of riom for everyone. Great place to stay.

The property was very clean & pretty. It had everything we needed for our stay. The veiws were beautiful! Communication with Fireside was great. They sent all the information on email & when talking to them on the phone they were very nice & helpful. The only down side was the tricky driveway. We had to drive up the road & turn around to get into the driveway. I would definitely recommend Katie's lodge!

While our trip to Tennessee itself was enjoyable, the cabin unfortunately did not meet the expectations set by the price, presentation, or being advertised as a luxury stay in a gated community. My biggest concern was the cleanliness and upkeep inside the cabin. Upon arrival, several areas appeared not to have been properly cleaned. We noticed issues ranging from bedding that did not seem freshly cleaned to visible food residue and fingerprints on the curtains. The grill and hot tub were also dirty and not guest-ready. We contacted the host about the cleaning concerns and, to their credit, they responded quickly and attempted to help. However, we had to request cleaning services twice before the issues were properly addressed, which took away from the experience. Multiple cleaners arrived, but it appeared only one person was actively cleaning while others were not assisting. There were also maintenance issues, including TV remotes with dead batteries that barely worked and siding coming loose on the hot tub. Because of the amount of issues, we felt the need to take photos of damaged and unclean areas simply to document the cabin’s condition. I appreciate the host’s responsiveness, but for the price paid, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, maintenance, and comfort. Overall, Tennessee was great, but the cabin did not reflect the premium price or luxury experience being advertised. Usually don’t write neg reviews but I have to fair and honest. I was not happy

Family trip

Our family enjoyed the spaciousness of the cabin and the views. The cabin was clean and well stocked in the kitchen to provided everything that we needed for cooking for a large group. The highlight was having a bear come up onto the porch by the kitchen door.

Great experience.

We had a great time definitely coming back!! Very please with everything in general, we did found some dishes that needed to be clean but order than that everything was nice, the communication with property Manager was excellent.

Russell family getaway

We had a little family getaway with my parents, my brother and some of his family, and two special cousins from Virginia. The cabin is absolutely beautiful. Plenty of room for a large group. There are awesome views from multiple points of the cabin. It was decorated very nice. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to others for large groups.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Love spending time with all the Kids and Grands. This Cabin is huge, very clean, absolutely beautiful. We had a Mama Bear and 3 cubs take a stroll thru the front yard. This cabin is amazing and absolutely the best price around for 6 bedroom- 6 Bath!!! WE Definitely will be back to this cabin, the best we have ever rented!!

What a place ! Wow we had the best stay of our life.

Chalet(Katie’s Cabin) was awesome In the middle of woods, walk down the valley was like heaven with streams flowing through the pebbles surrounded by beautiful flowers. Kids enjoyed the hot tub, pool room, they had a ball. Even the surrounding places were beautiful once you come out of gated community Shops were not that far, Pigeon forge was in reasonable distance Net net it was a ideal location and very satisfactory cabin

The WHOLE cabin was nothing short of amazing! The way it was so comfortable and was exactly how the web page described and showed made it even better. Really the pictures does no justice because it's even better in person !!!

Good location, but the checkin process wasn’t nice. The security guard on the gate was very rude even though he had our car’s and driver’s information.
