Beautiful Cabin
We had a great time at this cabin! We loved the location. It is right between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The deck is very private. The owner's info they sent was exactly correct, not exaggerated in any way. It was clean and had all the necessities whether it be for the kitchen or bathroom. We had fun shooting pool. My dad hadn't played in years. We highly recommend this cabin!

Perfect Mountain Cabin
The drive up to the cabin was just what we wanted, secluded and some steep parts. As it was totally worth the drive to get the amazing views from the deck. The cabin had all we needed and we loved every minute of our stay!

Great Mountain Location
Really enjoyed our stay, the host was wonderful and very responsive. Only thing I would say is that the cabin in located off a small, not well maintained road. If you have a SUV or truck, I’d suggest driving it. Otherwise, great location, very quiet and peaceful?

Great place to stay
This cabin is exactly what I was looking for and as advertised on the listing and the view was amazing! Great way to start the day with the amazing sunrise. Definitely would stay here again! The road was a little rough coming in at night, but you get the hang of it after driving it a time or two. Thank you so much!

So peaceful!
We really enjoyed our stay in the mountain cabin. The view is wonderful. The drive up the mountain gets easier every time you drive it. We love soaking in the hot tub at the end of the day. It’s close by everything. We both had a very relaxing stay!

Nice, cozy mountain cabin
Nice, clean cabin home with all amenities. Had a great time with family. The view from the balcony is awesome. Only setback was the fall colors were delayed this year, else I the stay would have been perfect. Be Careful while driving up the cabin as trail upto the cabin is little tricky and make sure to arrive there well before sunset.
Thumbs up to Amy and Troy for making it a memorable stay.

Beautiful view!
The cabin is beautiful! Plenty of space for our family, the kitchen was well equipped and the beds/bedding were super comfortable! (I even ordered the same brand of sheets when we got home!)
Yes, the road is a bit scary, but only the last half mile or so, but easily done with a suv and I quickly got used to it.
The best is the hot tub on the deck and watching the moon rise over the mountains after a day of hiking in the park!

Quiet, private mountainside home
Great views, everything worked in the home as expected, quiet days and nights, we absolutely loved our stay.
Close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, spent most of our days in Gatlinburg, easy drive with only minimal traffic once getting into town.
We did time our travel to ensure returning before nightfall, the winding mountain roads were a little challenging during the day and I didn’t want to attempt it in the dark. But that’s not unexpected when staying in a rural setting in the mountains.
I’d absolutely stay here again.

Loved every bit of it!
We loved our week at the cabin! First off - after reading so many comments about the road, we couldn't wait to see it for ourselves. We do have an AWD vehicle but we saw a UPS truck coming up one day so it's definitely manageable. (Fortunately we happened to be at a wider spot when we met up, and that was the only time another vehicle was on the road.) There ARE sections with room to move aside, not sure of the etiquette regarding who is expected to back up if needed. The first trip up and down is the hardest on nerves, I think. Just don't go too fast and have your brakes checked before you travel, you'll need 'em coming down!
The cabin itself is gorgeous, it had everything we needed to feel right at home. There are other houses nearby but you can't see them, that aspect of privacy is excellent. You CAN hear neighbors if you're outside & they are playing music or talking loudly, as someone else said, unless you're in the hot tub - the jets cover it up LOL. We never succeeded in getting up in time for sunrise but each morning the view was a little different depending on the mist, it made for great photos.
Our kids (15 & 18) loved the pool table, and they knew how to set up the Wii, all seemed to work for them. They did bring their own games for it. They also appreciated having wifi (ok we all did), and the TVs all worked very well. The hot tub was awesome - check the temperature when you get there, if it's not already set to the recommended temp you'll want to do that right away, it does take a long time to reach. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast each day and dinner a couple of times, including a dishwasher which was much appreciated. The ignitor on the grill was a little stubborn for us, so we picked up a bbq lighter & left it there in case anyone else needs, it may have been a one-off issue. Once lit the grill was in business!
The location is very convenient to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We visited each town throughout the week, be warned that traffic is congested just about any time of day, once you get there.
Definitely recommend this cabin, Amy & Troy are very responsive and clearly put a lot of effort into the accommodations. We are so happy we found it! If we had any complaint, it would be that we didn't see any bears... which is actually fine LOL

Short Family get away with elder parents and kids!!
Cabin was great, kitchen had everything we needed, there is a high chair and I left a small stroller I donated to the cabin. The ice maker will work it just has to be turned on,, Kids enjoyed the hot tub, our favorite part was sitting out on the back deck, the road going to and from the cabin was sketchy as most of it would have been impassible without one or the other backing up into another drive or a wider spot. It had great lighting when returning at night with solar powered lights that would come on. The only odd complaints I would have is some of the light bulbs needed replaced and there was a wii games system upstairs but could never figure out how to work it or the DVD player no instruction for how the wiring should have went wasn't big deal but would have been nice for our 12 yr old.

Absolutely beautiful
This cabin is absolutely beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice. Very relaxing. Very comfy. Peaceful. The stone road up to the cabin is steep at some points and some sharp turns. Just drive slow and I personally recommend a small SUV. We will DEFINITELY be renting this cabin again. I’m the very near future. Thank you so very much.

Great cabin, but a real challenge to get to it.
First the good news: the cabin itself is great. Beautiful view, great hot tub, well stocked kitchen, clean and comfortable. The “road” to get to it, however, is quite a challenge. It is a one lane, steep gravel road, with many blind switchback curves, and giant potholes, at least in the spring due to the spring rains. To say that you need a four wheel drive vehicle to reach it in winter is putting it mildly. We have a four wheel drive vehicle and it was still quite a challenge to reach it in Spring. I don’t know what you would do if a car was coming in the opposite direction, because for three quarters of a mile the gravel road is only one lane with very few areas large enough to pull over for oncoming traffic to pass, and no guardrails along the drop offs for most of the way. Also, once you get to the cabin, you find that there are other cabins visible to the right and left of you, close enough to hear the occupants, and their music playing, if you are both outside, so it is not what I would describe as a private location. We decided to leave after two nights because we didn’t want to make that harrowing drive up the mountain to reach the cabin again. We’ve driven many mountain roads all over the country, but none that weren’t paved, didn’t have any barrier on the drop offs and were only one lane with totally blind switchbacks and steep inclines. The cabin itself is beautiful, but be prepared for the extremely challenging road to reach it.

The skinny on the cabin
The view, fireplace, pool table and alarm system are fabulous. The road is scary for about 3 miles and there are blind turns. I definitely wouldn't attempt it in the snow. Rent or bring your own movies or wii games if you want to play or watch a movie. I was told there is a switch on the wall if you want to use the large jetted tub downstairs (I didn't know about it) and I didn't like the cleanliness of the jets upstairs. There was also a towel bar that had some exposed screws hanging out in upstairs bathroom and the oven didn't heat up to my liking. I reported the issues to the manager after I left, who is super nice and seems to care about your concerns. So, hopefully some of the issues will be solved. Lastly, I think if you ask, she may have housekeeping turn up the heat in the hot tub for you. 90° was too cold for me and it takes a while to warm the water. Happy travels.
