I was placed next to a room with the washer used by the staff and it ran all night long. The jacuzzi was closed for the season - not sure why you would close a jacuzzi in the winter and open it in the summer.....

Thank you for reviewing your stay. We sincerely apologize for not meeting your expectations. Unfortunately due to the hot tub and pool being in the same fenced area, both have to be open or closed at the same time. The hotel laundry is in it's own separately building, across the parking lot so I am not quite sure what you heard. Regardless, we are sorry your expectations were not exceeded.

Place was well situated in the city. Breakfast was great. I think I loved the breakfast more than the room. Bathroom and room looked old and needed renovation.

It's an older motel, so expectations were appropriately low. However, upon entering the room a strong odor was present. I entered the bathroom and the smell was so strong that I had to check my shoes to make sure that I didn't step in dog mess on my way to the room. The wall behind the lamp in between the beds was covered in some kind of fluid that had not been cleaned. We spent a total of five minutes in the room when it became evident that we could not possibly sleep there. Management refused our check out/refund request because of Covid concerns; we had already entered the room. How could we have possibly known the extent of the smell/dirtiness and body fluids without entering the room? I would not recommend this property to anyone.

We apologize for not meeting your expectations. Despite being an "older motel", we pride ourselves on being clean. We attempted to follow up on your complaint while you were in the lobby and offered to change your room but you declined. Thank you for your comments.

The reception staff was friendly and professional. The room was clean as were the common areas. Surprise was the full, hot breakfast and the care for social distancing when serving.
