We went with the less expensive room with two twin beds. We didn’t need much- a clean room, a good bed, and a shower. We came in around 7pm and left the next morning around 10 am. It’s a lovely old hotel in the historic district of Cottonwood. It has a courtyard with tables and chairs for longing and visiting. Check-in and out was easy. We had the same young lady both times, and she was great. You do park on the street or in a close-by public parking area and you may have stairs to climb if you’re on the second floor. I found it to be wonderfully quaint and quiet, and of course, affordable. The room had a refrigerator, a microwave and a coffee maker, along with a big screen TV. It was a clean and efficient and I would most definitely stay here again. Bonus…..there are many shops, pubs and restaurants that surround the the Iron Horse.

The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The location is perfect to be able to walk everywhere and enjoy the tasting rooms. The staff were nice and all the guests raved about how much they liked the hotel. The only down side is the bathroom is quite small due to the age of the building so there is just a tiny sink and no space to put your toiletries.

The room was great, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed including a fridge which was unexpected as I don't remember the description including it. Also, the staff was very friendly and professional. The only challenge was the stairs. They are very steep and made me nervous going down them. I'll likely request the lower level next time we stay.
