We went with the less expensive room with two twin beds. We didn’t need much- a clean room, a good bed, and a shower. We came in around 7pm and left the next morning around 10 am. It’s a lovely old hotel in the historic district of Cottonwood. It has a courtyard with tables and chairs for longing and visiting. Check-in and out was easy. We had the same young lady both times, and she was great. You do park on the street or in a close-by public parking area and you may have stairs to climb if you’re on the second floor. I found it to be wonderfully quaint and quiet, and of course, affordable. The room had a refrigerator, a microwave and a coffee maker, along with a big screen TV. It was a clean and efficient and I would most definitely stay here again. Bonus…..there are many shops, pubs and restaurants that surround the the Iron Horse.

The room was clean and well kept. Staff very nice. Great coffee selection and access to ice. Parking close but tough on weekends since it shared public parking with town visitors.

Located in the heart of Cottonwood. Charming courtyard type motel with history. Updated rooms and bathrooms. Walking distance to restaurants/bars/shopping. Everything was perfect except the bed was a little uncomfortable. Not sure if it was just the room we stayed. Other than that parking is free, and 24hour complimentary , coffee/tea room (self serve). We will stay here again, and maybe try another room to see if the beds are different.

Loved our experience in Cottonwood. This hotel was perfectly located right in the heart of old-town. The room was small and the stairs were steep (we're in our 80's) but still made it up and down just fine. Next time we'll ask for a first floor room. Very clean and the bed was comfy. Can't go wrong with the price.

Very cool and retro exterior styling. The room was very nice. It had been recently renovated and updated. The hotel is right in the heart of downtown. Walk to shops and restaurants. Highly recommended!!

A quaint inn in a convenient area of Cottonwood. I found my stay comfortable, convenient and walkable to a lot of local shoppes and restaurants. Sedona is about 30 mins away and an easy drive. Staying here was a welcome reprieve from the hustle and bustle of Sedona. Parking is also great in which there is plenty of parking located behind the inn for free.
