Cons: This is an empty hotel (no front desk, have to check in across the street at a different hotel), and there are no visible staff inside. Lobby was under construction, had to move rugs to access the elevator, stains on the old carpet, room full of old appliances that don’t work, no air conditioning, likely not updated in 50 years. The door to the parking lot doesn’t open with the key card (it should have), so you need to walk around the building to access the front. Pros: Staff were helpful and friendly. Location was decent, but expect to walk up steep hills if coming from the bay side.

Extremely handy to Virginia Mason medical complex. It is across from Inn at Virginia Mason, where The Rho cafe serves Mon-Fri 7am-9m - with friendly service, good food, super handy. All hotel staff from front desk to room cleaners were very friendly, helpful, efficient. Recommend this as a good place to stay for medical travel as well as just visiting Seattle.

The staff was exceptional in providing me a beautiful suite with a gorgeous view of the Seattle skyline. I was there for my daughter’s kidney transplant surgery at Virginia Mason hospital so I very much appreciated the peacefulness the view provided. The room was clean, water was nice and hot for showers, the view was rejuvenating, and most of all the staff, including the Rho cafe, where friendly, professional, and extremely helpful in making our stay very pleasant.
