Reserved a room that supposedly slept 3 people, which was to include either a roll away bed or sleeper sofa to accommodate the 3rd person. The room had neither of these things. Not sure if they really thought a king bed was supposed to sleep 3 people?

We needed a break and a clean place to swim & enjoy breakfast. Although the pool was chilly on Thursday night, it was warm by Friday morning & the waffles are always a hit with our family. Very courteous staff!

There is nothing not to like about this hotel! It was so clean that the bathroom sparkled. We thought it was new and the desk clerk said they were 4-5 years old - just had a great cleaning staff! The desk clerk who checked us out was amazing! When she heard we were there for a funeral she came around the desk and gave me a hug and some bottles of water for our drive. I truly felt like a cherished guest!!

Uncomfortable lumpy bed.

Pros: The manager was friendly, easy to talk to.
Cons: Cleanliness and also provide gluten free items for breakfast.
Location: We attended a funeral. This was not a vacation for us so do not know of any things to do nearby.
The bed was very uncomfortable, lumpy and not clean. There were urine stains on the mattress pad. The bathroom was not clean. After alerting the receptionist she moved us to a different room. The overall experience was not much better, as stated earlier the bed was not easy to sleep on. We were in town for a funeral, had a long journey to the hotel and expected to find everything in order. We stay in Hilton properties most of the time and this stay was not up to standard. The maids did not clean the following morning, we came back after the funeral to find the bed made, (no clean sheets) and trash taken away, nothing more. As someone who travels multiply times a year and stays in hotels I find the rooms need to be checked for cleanliness on a regular basis by someone in charge of housekeeping. M. P

Great stay

Location: Everything was very close by within 5 minutes

Bring your own pillow

Pros: Beautiful, very clean, the food was good and good selection.
Cons: Put a firmer (medium) pillow in the closet. I've stayed at the Hampton Inn in Cedar Rapids and I didn't want to leave. I wanted out of this one!
Location: I attended my 50th Class Reunion at Teibel's Restaurant across the street. Their perch is the best.
The pillows (4 of them) were super soft and uncomfortable. The fridge hummed and I had to crawl around on my bad knee to unplug it. The room coffee maker was missing the part to hold the pod, so no coffee before getting dressed. I only had 3 hours sleep so I needed that coffee. The bedroom/bathroom were beautiful and super clean.

A Great Surprise!

Pros: Large rooms, cleanliness and breakfasts!
Cons: nothing
Location: Located in a major intersection by plenty of restaurants and a few bars.
I have stayed in Hampton Inns quite a while ago, and have always liked them well enough. This trip found me sitting with no room in the hotel I had booked in March! Travelocity found us a room at The Hampton Inn around the corner. It was a very pleasant stay! The quality of the inns hqve been greatly improved upon! The room was very spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated! The washroom was is large, with all that we needed. There is a pool and excercise room open all night! They have a mini store by the front desk for snacks, drinks and small essential that you may need. Breakfast is hot with just about anything you may want to eat. One of the best! I say go! You will like it!
