Obvious effort by hosts to make stay comfortable inside. Location in main description is a bit misleading. The location is not what I would say “near DT and Forsyth park” - and even if it were, the location is not such that it would be safe to walk (especially after sunset). The neighborhood IMO was not “safe feeling”, we had new empty liquor bottles dropped outside the fence where our vehicle was located each morning, and witnessed physical altercations in yards of neighboring houses at night and in broad day light (not the hosts fault). The front door was the only entry into the home but the parking is fenced in the back yard so it was not ideal to have to get out and open the gate, pull in, close the gate and then walk around to the front to gain entry to the home (especially after dark and especially with a child in tow). The fence itself is not super secure, while opening it and getting back in to park, one side blew closed and hit the side of truck and left a scratch and dent. This is an accident and understand that happens; however, had the fence been able to be secured without using a garbage can to prop it open that may not have happened. For us, overall, while the host obviously put forth effort, the location felt misleading in description and we did not feel as safe as we had hoped (especially given the price). The hosts did their best, the location was unfortunate for us.
