Mediterranean house at fishermans port of Cala Figuera

The house consists of a ground floor with two bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen, living room and dining room. The best asset of the house is the big patio with barbacue, dining area and chill out area with sofas. The house has been recently refurbished and is in very good condition.

This house is the ideal gateway for a couple, with or without children, who is looking to enjoy a quiet and comfortable stay.

One of the bedrooms is equipped with a double bed while the other room is equipped with two single beds. Both bedrooms face the exterior of the house, one to the street and the other one to the patio. The house is very luminous since all rooms and areas have openings (windows or doors) to the exterior as in a tipical mediterranean architecture. All doors and windows have meditterranean shutters that allow the passage of air when closed. This ensures that in summer, when it is hot outside, the house is refrigerated by the draught of air. The house is also equipped with air conditioning. For winter we have recently installed a pellet stove heating system that keeps the house warm and comfortable.

We had a lovely week here and would come back again, the property was clean and well maintained, shame about the derelict properties around the area, but would not stop us from booking again, Alejandra was lovely and most helpful. Cala Figuera is wonderful a little gem!

Cosy Mallorcan casita

Clean and comfortable with a lovely backyard for enjoying a vino or two. Convenient location and ample street parking with a small supermarket next door that sells hot bread. The only inconvenience, no toilet paper or soap to shower with after a twenty seven hour flight from Australia. Luckily the supermarket next door was stocked with such products, although I would expect such items to be supplied.

Charming Home

Charming home with a wonderful large courtyard in back. Very private, quiet and clean. Two nice size bedrooms with large living room and dining room. Alejandra and Gabriel were great hosts making sure that we had everything we needed. There is a well-stocked market two blocks down the street that is open daily and large supermarkets close by in Santanyi and Campos. Cala Figuera is a small fishing village and it was wonderful to explore the port and inlets. It is a charming town with plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. We visited in April and the wild flowers were in bloom all over the island. We especially enjoyed the outdoor market in Santanyi! We highly recommend this house for your stay in Mallorca!

A lovely property

Met on arrival by Alejandra, Gabriel's wife who told us the property had been her grandmother's and obviously held lots of fond memories for her which made it feel a little special. The photos do not show how spacious it is. Two good sized bedrooms, lounge and dining room and a large patio area/outside dining area at the back that is private and quiet. There was plenty of on-street parking right outside the property while we were there. Cala Figuera is still a traditional fishing village and a wander round the port and inlets is fascinating and it also has plenty of good places to eat for locals and tourists. A couple of hints for others planning a visit: - Alejandra informed us that the water around the region is undrinkable and she was right - it is VERY salty and would probably knock your electrolyte balance off if you drank it. If you have hired a car from the airport, I would advise you pick up bottled water on the way to the property. You will pass a Lidl on the outskirts of both Campos and Santanyi or if you arrive in Cala Figuera at a reasonable time, there is a small but well stocked Coaliment supermarket at the far end of the street the property is on (about a 3 minute walk from the property). A 6 litre bottle of water there cost just 89 cents. - there are 7 concrete steps at the rear from the property to the patio so if you have very young children or have mobility difficulties, this could be a safety issue to consider. There is so much to do so I would advise not to over stretch yourself. We had planned to visit places all over the island but there is so much to see within an hour's drive of the property. In April when we visited, the wild flowers are in bloom everywhere and the Parc Naturel Mondrago a few miles north of the property is a great place to see them but even a wander around the village and particularly follow the paths on the outskirts and you are surrounded by coastal or garrique flowers and shrubs. For birdlife, the Estany de ses Gambes near the salt pans was great - Black winged stilts, Avocets, Shelducks, Kentish plovers, Redshanks, Turnstones and you can stand just 20 feet from them on the side of the road and they are not one bit bothered. Follow this road down and you come to the gorgeous beach at Es Trenc - a conservation area and plenty of Audins Gulls etc to be seen. Also lots of smaller birds I have yet to identify from my bird books! Would definitely recommend both the property and the area to stay.

Es war alles wie erwartet und hervorrageng beschrieben. Großes Kompliment an unsere Vermieter!

Die Wohnung ist einfach eingerichtet aber schön gelegen. Man erreicht zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten sämtliche Restaurants und auch den Supermarkt. Ein Spar ist direkt nebenan und ein Stück die Straße hoch ist noch ein Mallorcinischer Markt der eine andere Auswahl hat und günstiger ist. Wir haben unsere Mahlzeiten draußen in dem Innenhof zu uns genommen und auch mal gechillt. Dort ist auch die Waschmaschine untergebracht. Unser Mietwagen hat sich mehr als gelohnt! Sehr sehr schöne Insel. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Super schönes Häußchen mit traumhaften Innenhof mit Grill

Das Haus ist sehr sauber ,schlicht aber mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet und hat alles was man braucht. Ein paar Meter weiter gibt es einen Supermarkt sowie einige Restaurants. Auch der traumhfte Hafen ist nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Es gibt mehrere Strände und Buchten im Umkreis und auch nach Santany sind es nur 10 min mit dem Auto

Preiswerte Unterkunft mit schönem Innenhof

Es handelt sich hier um ein kleines Häuschen mit großem Innenhof. Darum herum ist viel Leerstand, was am Anfang etwas seltsam anmutet, aber auch für die Ruhe verantwortlich ist, und das war uns sehr wichtig. Es ist alles da, was man braucht, zwei Schlafzimmer, nettes Badezimmer, genügend großer Essbereich und Wohnzimmer, parken kann man immer vor der Tür. Von hier aus kann man viele Ausflüge machen, aber der Ort selbst ist auch sehr schön an einer Bucht gelegen. Wir waren im März hier und die Heizungen haben uns auch gut warm gehalten. Hervorzuheben sind auch noch die netten Vermieter, die gut Englisch sprechen und immer erreichbar sind. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, vielen Dank!

12 Tage in Cala Figuera außerhalb der Saison

Insgesamt hat uns die Unterkunft und die liebenswürdige Betreuung durch Alejandra sehr gefallen. Der idyllische Innenhof ist das Herzstück dieses mallorquinischen Hauses, das sich ca. in der dritten Reihe vom Hafen befindet. Es sind nur wenige hundert Meter, um zu Fuß dorthin zu gelangen. Man muss allerdings wissen, dass es außerhalb der Saison kaum geöffnete Geschäfte und Bars gibt. Zum Einkaufen empfiehlt sich eine Fahrt nach Santanyi zu Eroski oder Lidl, am besten an den Markttagen am Mittwoch und Samstag.

Traumhafter Urlaub in Cala Figuera

Das Mittelmeerhäuschen ist zentral in dem kleinen Fischerörtchen gelegen und läßt keine Wünsche offen. Die Vermieter Gabriel (per Mail) und Alejandra (vor Ort) waren absolut zuvorkommend und korrekt und es war einfach ein unkomplizierter und herzlicher Umgang miteinander. Fazit: Wir haben im Mai 2020 und Oktober 2020 gleich wieder gebucht:)...

A lovely holiday home

A very nice and quiet place in picturesque Cala Figuera. We had a great time on Mallorca. We (2 adults and 2 teenage kids) felt very much at home and at ease in the house, and the garden is a lovely and quiet place to enjoy the mornings and evenings. Wonderful!

jolie maison confortable charme

maison très fonctionnelle (équipement au top), cour très agréable (soleil, si on veut, du matin au soir). Décoration très soignée tout en restant pratique (rien à craindre avec enfants). Unique petit bémol: la chambre des enfants donne sur la rue qui peut être un tout petit peu bruyante (mais bon on est en pleine saison touristique). A deux pas du joli port de Cala Figueira. Qui reste charmant et à ambiance très familiale. Séjour très agréable pour nous.

Nettes, sauberes Häuschen in Hafennähe in Cala Figuera

Wir haben uns in dem kleinen Häuschen super wohlgefühlt. Wir haben hier viele nette Stunden verbracht. Vor allen Dingen hat uns der hübsch gestaltete Hinterhof gefallen. Das Häuschen selber ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht und es gibt auch eine Klimaanlage. Es ist klein und fein und es gibt keine Hotelburgen, dafür aber einige wunderschöne Buchten in der Nähe. Auch der nahegelege Hafen ist eine echte Attraktion! Der kleine Supermarkt 5 Meter weiter ist morgens für's Frühstücks-Baguette super. Die Vermieter sind nett und unkompliziert! Das Haus war sehr sauber und die Betten sehr bequem.

Wie zu Hause, nur sonniger!

Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Küche ist tatsächlich zum Kochen geeignet. Der Herd und der Backofen sind prima! Obwohl es im Haus selber recht hellhörig ist, haben wir uns zu viert nicht gestört gefühlt. Der Hof lässt viel Spielraum für alle zum Verweilen. Auch bei stürmischem Wetter kann man es sich richtig gemütlich und warm machen. Ein kleiner Supermarkt direkt in der Straße hat alles, was man für ein frisches, gesundes Frühstück braucht. Parkplätze gibt es direkt vor der Haustür. Nette Nachbarn und fröhliche Kinder nebenan, was will man mehr? Der Kontakt mit dem housekeeping war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir kommen hoffentlich bald wieder : )

Das Ferienhaus mit seinem schönen Innenhof enthält noch viele historische Elemente wie Türen und Fenster, ist aber trotzdem komfortabel. Da es Anfang April in diesem Jahr recht kühl war, haben wir uns über den Pelletofen sehr gefreut.

Zweckmäßig eingerichtetes, einzeln stehendes Ferienhaus

Im März waren Holzofen (Pellets) und Klimaanlage (als Heizung genutzt) unsere "besten Freunde". Der große Patio mit Grillplatz konnte nur gelegentlich zum Frühstücken genutzt werden. Kücheneinrichtung gut, Heißwasser heiß genug, auch zum Duschen. Schlafzimmer und sonstige Einrichtung ok bis gut. Kontakt mit Eigentümern angenehm. Cala Figuera ist v.a. wegen des Hafens eine Reise wert!

Ein individuell eingerichtetes Ferienhaus mit schönem Innenhof

Zentral in Cala Figuera gelegen, war es jetzt Anfang März absolut ruhig. Die gesamte Wohnung ist geschmackvoll, gemütlich und modern eingerichtet. Ein Mix aus mallorcin und Ikea. Da wir auch im Urlaub gerne kochen, haben wir uns über die sehr gut ausgestattete Küche gefreut. Die Betten inkl. Bettdecken sind bequem. Ein Mückengitter vor den Fenstern hätten wir uns gewünscht. Das Wohnzimmer konnten wir abends mit dem tollen neuen Pelletofen heizen. Der Innenhof ist einfach wunderbar.

Tolles Ferienhaus für Familien

Wir haben die Zeit im Februar sehr genossen. Mit den Heizungen wurde es auch richtig warm. Das Haus war sehr sauber und es fehlte an nichts. Sogar Zucker, Öl und Gewürze gab es in der gut ausgestatteten Küche. Der Hof ist sehr hübsch und man kann wunderbar Grillen. Es gibt sogar reichlich Sandspielzeug und wir haben auch ein Planschbecken gesehen - dafür war es bei uns aber zu kalt. Park Fläche ist vorm Haus ausreichend vorhanden und man ist in kürzester Zeit direkt am schönen Hafen. Es gibt einen schönen Wanderweg zur Cala Mondrago. Die Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich und unkompliziert. Einziger Nachteil im Winter: Der Supermarkt und die meisten Restaurants sind bis zum März geschlossen. Wir bedanken uns für die schöne Zeit!
