Should have advised of pool issues
Positives:
Great location close to the town, but in a fairly private location.
Communication with host excellent prior to trip and happy for us to check into the villa earlier
Villa has all that you need
Negatives
The pool had a hole in It which meant that twice a day the owner arrived to turn a hose on and off to keep it topped up, our issues with that which may not be a problem for everyone is that we like quiet uninterrupted time, and although the host did not stop and talk, we just felt that it was intrusive.
But what was frustrating is we should have been told about the issue ahead of the trip and what that would mean, hence the lower scoring for communication.
Also like others have mentioned the villa could do with some updating and was a bit worse for wear than the photos.
The photos could do with updating as well as there is no longer a children’s play area, but more a wasteland where they may be building, we don’t have children, but if the play area is something that as a parent you’d see as a bonus it is not there
