I liked how close it was to the wharf and boardwalk. The paid parking wasn't my favorite, but I'll live. Perhaps including the parking in the room rate would save everyone some trouble?

The hotel and rooms were clean, but nothing special or outstanding for the price paid. The entire pool was only 3' deep? Hard to swim in. $25/night (plus $2.50 tax) was too much. It costs the hotel nothing, so I felt I was taken advantage of.

I loved staying here for our family trip to Santa Cruz! Great location. Walking distance to the pier and restaurants. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Spotless and comfortable lobby, and eating area. Several options for breakfast.
