We are a family of 5 with three young children. We could not have picked a better place for our one week vacation in January. The kids spent the days collecting shells, playing on the beach and splashing around in the pool. Staying just steps away from the beach and being on the first level were incredibly convenient. Great place to make memories.

My fiancé and I stayed at Loggerhead Cay condo 101 during the week of Christmas. We were very impressed with the location, cleanliness and amenities. We had a very peaceful stay.

A Hosts -- David and Paul were excellent hosts. Communication was fast and friendly. The condo has been professionally renovated. Air Conditioning works great; beds are comfy, new stainless appliances with filtered water and ice on the fridge. New washer and dryer, massive super UHD TV with your favorite streaming apps. It just felt like home. Parking is the very first space outside the door which makes the load-in and load-out super easy. We look forward to returning soon.

Sanibel Island is back!We are long-time, full-time Florida Residents and we decided to treat ourselves to a week in Sanibel. We were not disappointed. Business is thriving on the island—and in a good way! There are some signs of re-building, but the overall attitude on Sanibel is one of welcoming regrowth.
That being said, this condo has all the earmarks of a perfect location to enjoy a quiet week on Sanibel. We were able to make our own meals with ease, enjoy the privacy of the unit and the lovely beach—but also venture out and sample the many choices of cuisine that Sanibel AND Captiva have to offer.I must add that for those of you that enjoy beach “toys,” there are plenty at the condo. Do check what’s there before you spend money on said items. Short list as of the date of this review: Chairs, umbrellas, beach cart, boogie boards, two oversized ring floats and plenty of towels.Best of all, this condo is on the ground floor — which means that you have easy access to load in and out, as well as direct and easy access to the nice beach that this property faces. Distance from Lanai screen door to water-line is about 100 steps or so. Also, when relaxing on the couch after a day on the beach, you can still enjoy a view of the Gulf. Mornings are especially serene while enjoying the sunrise with a cup of coffee! Dave (owner), and especially Paul (manager) were both very attentive and communicative before and during our stay. We highly recommend this condo! Enjoy!

Lovely modern condo with a great location

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this condo. It’s nicely furnished and in a great location! Being able to walk right out to the beach was so nice. Definitely would rent it again!

Amazing Spot

Pictures don't do it justice! Condo was perfect! Bigger and more beautiful in person. Location in regards to beach, pool, and parking could not have been more perfect especially for my elderly mother who traveled with us.
Freaky coyote out during the day right by the condo! Added plus to our wildlife viewing.

Excellent property!!!

The condo was as described, very close to the beach making it easy to go in and out, the pool area was very well equiped with very comfortable chairs, loungers and umbrellas. Anything you need at home in the kitchen,baths and bedding they provided and all in excellent condition.The area is pretty much back to normal, many restaurants to choose from and activities.Comunication with Paul was excellent when needed during stay. Will definitely be back soon.

Beach Condo

Condo was great. Location, location, location! First floor condo was wonderful for unloading our car and for carrying items to and from the beach. The pool is also fantastic and close to this unit. Paul, the maintenance person, was quick to help us with small problems.

Great Location

Condo is newly renovated and in a great spot on the property. We loved the easy access of walking out the porch and being able to get to the beach to so quickly. It was especially nice for sunrises to be able to pop out and enjoy the morning so quickly.

Just wow!!

We've stayed many places in Sanibel and this is one of the best. The location on the beach is unmatched as well as the view. Very beautiful home with all the extras you need. What a great beach vacation with my family!

Perfect Condo

Sanibel is back! Condo was everything we could ask for! It was well decorated, well stocked with what you need at beach, and location unparalleled! It was literally 30 steps to beach and had glorious sunrises every morning that you looked out the windows. We totally recommend!

Great weather

We like the property but felt it was too far from several of our favorite restaurants. The area has been working hard too get back to normal. Traffic was bad due to construction work but it an be avoided. Overall it is still a great place to go to get out of the winter weather in Iowa.

Best Beach Condo on Sanibel

Dave's place is great. Right on the beach, parking right out front and handy to get anywhere on the Island. Ground level and going out the back door to the beach is sweet. We hit the polar vortex week so it was chilly, but still a great stay and glad to have such a great place to hang out. Thanks Dave (and thanks for the heads up on our car!) D-

Perfect shelling location, oceanfront

We had an incredible multigenerational trip at the condo. We whole heartedly recommend the condo for cleanliness and location. It is well appointed and the beach access to amazing shelling is steps away. I love the location with regards to the complex because you are not sandwiched between units. We could not ask for a more perfect situation.

Fantastic Condo!

Loggerhead Cay 101 is a beautiful condo, steps from the beach. Everything is new and beautiful. The property manager is available to answer any questions and to help if a problem arises. I look forward to staying again!
