What a wonderful place to relax! Enjoyed every minute at this place and can't wait to go back! Staff was very friendly, proximity and view of the Gulf was outstanding!

Excellent in every way we hope to comeback. The cottage was excellent except that is not sound proof and you can here your neighbors because it is more like a town house. And the hotel you can also hear the upstairs guests.

Right on the water. Loved all the little things - hammocks in the shade of trees, first drink in the bar was free for my entire family, parking is free, beach towels & chairs are plentiful, shuffleboard right next to the pool. Pool is a little on the small side for a place this big, like that it goes to 8' though. Loved the 1st floor room- could walk right out of the screened in porch, cover about 100' of sand, and then I was at the water's edge! Staff super friendly and helpful, had no problem letting us hang out and use the outdoor amenities & free parking even though we were several hours early for check in. Cannot thank you enough for that

Beautiful Inn right on its own private beach!

Pros: Gorgeous rooms, right on its own private beach, bicycle rentals, restaurant and bar, beach chairs and umbrellas, wonderful staff
Cons: It was all perfect!
Location: The location is perfect, because you are steps from a private beach, covered in billions of sea shells. Its very close to everything you'd want to do
This beautiful inn had everything! Lovely, comfortable rooms equipped with the most modern appliances, flat screen tv's, gorgeous bathrooms, lovely tile floors and a screened-in patio where you can sit and watch the ocean. There were bicycle rentals right at the Inn, which we took advantage of, because the whole island has wide, paved bicycle paths that will take you to shopping, restaurants, grocery stores and the wildlife reserve. We rode for two hours, and only the threat of rain brought us back. The inn also has kayak and paddle board rentals, along with a lovely swimming pool, shuffle board, volleyball, and many games to play! The staff was wonderful and helpful, giving advice for places to go and dine. And there is a wonderful restaurant right there at the inn, with live music and dancing. All in all, I can't imagine staying anywhere else and having such a perfect vacation. I can't wait to go back to the Island Inn. I think I left my heart there!
